Rest days are tough because you are so motivated and you want to keep going but these are the days when your muscles are repairing so it is essential to take a break. Workout hard 3 days a week (every other day), light the other 2 days, and on the last 2 days really take it easy and don't do anything except walk.

Try increasing your calorie intake. I know it sounds contrary to what should happen, but it works. I've seen numerous people on this site increase their calorie count and they start to lose weight. Almost daily. Whenever I think about it.... usually first thing in the morning is my rule, otherwise I don't do it. Expect it to go up and down. Don't get hung up when it goes up but celebrate when it goes down!
