AGREED! I accidentally made lemon pepper fish too spicy for my husband the other night. Oops.

Even though I choose not to eat meat, I can't fault people for doing so. Humans are omnivores after all. I just plead with those who do choose to eat meat that they make ethical decisions on what they're consuming.

My work out partner is my 55 year old Dad. He kicks my *kitten*...hard. Work out to your ability. And the senior comment was rude. You're 44.

Pretty much that. Sometimes you're in a situation where it's either that or McD's and I'm going to pick Subway every time.

Hi! I have two boys, a 26 month old (who I bf'd for 14 months) and a 3 month old who is a 100% boobie boy.

I've been a pescatarian (veggie + seafood) for the last 7 years, but was vegetarian for 8 before that. I'm 29, so over half my life. The best advise I have to give for healthy eating as a vegetarian came when I started to analyse why people always asked me what I ate. I couldn't figure it out for the longest time; what do…

I get a soy chai latte when I'm feeling indulgent. Otherwise a passion tea lemonade.

I hear ya! I barely left the house for the first 6 months of my oldest son's life. He nursed CONSTANTLY! My youngest (3 months) is a much different kid. He comes along in the jogging stroller 3 days a week and sleeps the whole time.

I love meal planning! I've fallen off the wagon a little lately, but prior I made a full 3 meal/day plan for the entire week. I compiled a list of everything I needed, shopped for it, and had it in that order. I got to the point where I got annoyed if hubby wanted to do something different (like go out, or he picked up…

It really depends. I'm a SAHM of two boys, and when I first signed up I had my activity level as "sedentary", and my calorie goals at 1.5 lb/week loss. I was losing over 2. So obviously carrying loads of laundry up and down the stairs were having some impact. I've re-adjusted my activity level and it balanced out. If I…

I think of weight in pounds, but distance in kilometres (yes..I'm Canadian LMAO!) Makes reading some of the running threads difficult...

In terms of net calories, 1200 isn't necessarily low depending on your size.

As someone who struggled with infertility (endometriosis) I wanted to say hello. Good luck with your weigh loss and TTC journeys.

Fat's good. In fact, essential. Eat good fat, and within your daily allotment.

Lookin' fine! Mind you I'm breastfeeding and they won't look as nice when I'm done...

My sister and I are similar heights and weights, but carry it differently. She stores weight in her hips and butt, has a small waist, and is boob-less, and I'm a rectangle with boobs.

Congrats! Not sure if you want my advice; I put on 40lb both times :P FWIW, some of that is water. Keep healthy snacks in the house, and try to exercise. I know it's the last thing I wanted to do, especially in the 1st tri, but I always felt better after doing it.

There's no such thing as "the right time", "right age" or "ready". It's on a sliding scale; you can be more or less ready. I was 23 when I got married, and had my first at 26. I would have had kids right away if I could, but unfortunately that wasn't in the cards for us. When it feels right, do it. For what it's worth, we…

I have been very fit at the same time that my husband has been overweight. Still <3 him. That being said, I'm a little confused by the question. Is this someone who doesn't give a damn about their own appearance wanting arm candy? Seems a little shallow to me. The only reason I think is appropriate to want a fit "girl"…

Also, just looked at your food diary, and you're not eating enough. Your deficit is already built into your calorie budget, so your goal is to hit that number, not try to stay under it. Good luck with your journey :D

If I were to listen to the scale, it would tell me that between yesterday and today I lost 2.5lb. I'm here to tell you that's a load of crap. In my case it's because the night before last I went out to a dinner party, and I consumed WAY too much sodium. I was still holding on to a lot of water at weigh-in. Just look for…

They don't want to see your hard work and dedication. It makes them feel fat and lazy. They'll change or they won't; don't let it affect your path.

I'm in tears I'm laughing so hard.

I ask because my husband is a picky eater, like to the point that I describe it as a food phobia. We take things that he likes, and modify them to make them healthier. That and we've been slowly (veeeeeeerrrrrrrry sloooooooooowly) adding new ingredients. If you tell us what you like, maybe we can offer suggestions to help.…

For goodness sake, can we stop speaking in sweeping stereotypes?
