  • I'm 5"3 and I eat 1200 per day but I usually come in a little lower than that. I also don't eat extra if I exercise.
  • I'm still fairly new with keto so I am no expert. I have had the same kind of questions you have. I was told that in the beginning you may not need to worry as much about calories. You need to focus on the macros. I started at 65-30-5. If you are having trouble losing weight then maybe start limiting your calories. Try…
  • I was stalled for about 6 weeks. I cut dairy and increased my exercise and today I lost 3 lbs and seemed to have broken the stall. I eat unsweetened unsalted peanut butter everyday with celery :) From what I have heard, if you "cheat" and get yourself out of keto it's like starting from the beginning again. That's what's…
  • I am no expert because I really can't stomach the thought of oil in my coffee but I have heard of people using a combo of butter and cream rather than coconut oil. I know what you mean about it being expensive. Maybe some coconut milk or cream would be ok? it's alot cheaper.
  • I love cottage cheese with sunflower seeds, some berries and a touch a natural maple syrup. soo good! I think I found the recipe in clean eating magazine.
  • Thanks! I think I'll just wait it out. I've been at 65-30-5 almost daily so hopefully weight will start dropping!
  • I did confirm ketosis with the sticks. I test every couple days. I haven't measured though, maybe I will be surprised!
  • I have been seeing these recipes everywhere but haven't been able to find chia seeds. I may have to order them online! I'm not sure I'd want to travel with it, but I'd love to keep it on hand in my kitchen for a quick breakfast when I don't feel like fixing bacon and eggs. • I tend to be under goal because I feel like the exercise over calculates the number of calories that I burned. I enter it anyways, but don't pay much attention. I still eat 1500 cal per day, exercise or not.
  • Congrats on your weight loss so far. I am working towards losing 100 lbs and would love to have another friend to cheer on/ cheer me on!!! Add me!
  • I am overweight and I used to dance. I danced for 20 years (ballet). When I was 23 I quit mainly for work reasons. I am a nurse and the shift work was keeping me from attending classes regularly. I was significantly overweight (213lbs) when I quit. I don't think many people would have guessed that though because I was so…
  • It depends on what the 1500 calories consists of. If you are losing on 1500 cal keep it up! If you aren't losing than take a look at what you are eating. Does the 1500 consist of alot of sugars and starchy foods or alcoholic drinks? If it's not working for you try increasing your protein and decreasing your carbs. I am…
  • I'm doing the exact same thing! cheers to you for trying to better yourself in and out :) I have found that I spend so much time hating myself instead of trying to change.
