vanity? okay um, better health? yeah that sounds good. oh and myself.

i recently changed my running shoes back to nikes and poof, gone. you may have to try a few different pairs and then do the other stuff suggested by posters: strengthening, stretching, ice, slow down, etc.

it will vary from person to person. not sure which one is better and for what, but which one is preferred. i like running outside, but i've been on the treadmill since november. it gets the job done. i go to work.

I workout mostly during my lunch hour because that's really the only time i have, except on the weekends. my job also has a no eating policy, but i ignore that. shhhh. i would take advantage of my lunch hour, even if you just get in a half hour. that's pretty much all i have for right now. sometimes a little more, but not…

wow. great job. you look great!

there are people that lose weight and people that lose weight and look great in their clothes. exercise is important for the body, regardless of weight loss. if you don't like to exercise, find an activity that you love doing and see if that gets you motivated. i ate back my calories, not all but some. it's fuel for the…

i'm here for the same reason. to find out about bear. i make a zillion typos.

you look fantastic! congrats on all your hard work. it paid off!

i enjoyed and am enjoying my journey. it's not easy at times, sometimes i don't feel like it, but it's been great and i'm loving the results more.

HRM is the way to go. everyone should own one. i prefer the one with the chest strap.
-
i'm in the same boat, friend me.
-
yeah i would rest. we never know we are "hurt" until we stop running.

everyday, but i weigh in once a week. daily keeps me in line - it's my compass, let's me know if i need to stay on course if i have gone off. i know weight fluctuates, so i don't get toooooo crazy if it goes up. i know i'm doing the work and eating right. most of the time.

relacore. body fat. doesn't work. nothing works better than diet and exercise!!!

forever and ever AMEN!

i have arthritis too and other back problems. hmmm, well the advice that has been given me is: stretch after your workout (back stretches) - yoga/pilates actually helped me. strengthen your core muscles (ab work if you can) ice your back after a workout and use an anti-inflammatory if need be cross train until you feel…
-
what exercises are you doing? i also exercise with back pain and go to a chiro. icing helps - not sure what you're doing though. are you lifting weights or regular cardio?
-
congrats! well done.

a run in the morning and that will be it for the day
-
i too would try the insoles first. you don't need an expensive pair of sneakers, but don't go to payless either. i changed my insoles back to my old pair and i can run on the treadmill again. used to get shinsplints - not much foot pain. i use…

if i'm not slacking between 224-234 calories for 34 minute 2 mile walk with warm up and cool down - i use handweights for some of the time best to get a HRM
-
i think you may be okay to work your abs every day. i read anywhere around 10 - 15 minutes of a workout is enough. mine were sore with some back to back workouts, but it made my core feel really strong so i didn't mind it.

i weigh myself daily. sometimes several times a day. it doesn't bother me much and i use it as a guided compass...either i need to do better or continue what i'm doing. no biggie.

i'll take some as well. mine really did a disappearing act, not that i had any to begin with. i miss those girls.
