my question too. i don't know. i think if it happens it will take forever. i've read strength training and of course the cardio will help, but if you're already at your goal weight, you will lose more pounds and it may not be from that area. i'm going to try low fat cooking and see if that helps. anyone?
-
fantastic. way to go! you look great.
-
if you feel smaller, that may be a better indicator than the scale. all scales lie to you, eventually :) . try a different cardo or add strength training if you have not.
-
mine lied to me this morning too. i was thinking maybe i need to change the battery. i don't have a polar.
-
this is where i am too. why it's confusing to me, i don't know. right now i leave a little calories over each day, maybe 2 or 3 hundred. i was told to eat them. i still plan to exercise daily and only have the belly fat to lose. my plan is to focus on strength traning and not a lot of cardio. i'm only three weeks into…

eat
-
uummm yeah. it's a start.
-
drink a ton of water before your meal and eat out of a saucer, not a plate.
-
i don't want to find out. i like food and so does my body. i was never afraid to eat my calories, though not all of them. i think that helped my weight loss and strength training.
-
after you buy the running shoes, get a quality pair of insoles for women at a sports store.
-
i would say do both. if your body is bored, change your strength training exercises.
-
too late to do anything about that but learn from it, get back on the wagon. it's a new day, start over. oh and change your thinking. don't say you can't or won't or i will never. start with i will, i can and i shall.
-
mine would say, is that all you got?
-
tacos!
-
ooh thanks for this. was looking for a crockpot recipe.
-
have you tried any strength training. perhaps the body is bored with your routine? change things up a little?
-
exactly. i knew that excess fat was keeping me warm.
-
weight training may seem like a "waste of time" because there's not always much of a calorie burn for the time spent, but it is well worth it. i think it has been the main reason why i consistently lost weight and a little extra. a strong body has helped my cardio. you don't have to spend long hours in the gym lifting…

is it me? hmmm, that's a tough one. people don't like to be told nothing that they don't ask for help with. i suppose if they are not doing anything unhealthy, like vomiting or starving, just leave them be. there is nothing you can tell them. it's almost like telling someone they are too fat...they don't want to hear it .
-
i ate some of mine, not all.
-
well done!
-
daily, but i weigh in once a week. i don't stress over the numbers on the scale, i just like to know....if i'm on course and anything i need to do different.
-
i actually had pizza for lunch and 1/2 cup of oj with breakfast. i think i will bake some cookies this afternoon. yeah, i have those days and i'm not even sick. :) feel better.
-
it worked for me. as long as you do the work, it should for you.
-
you look fantastic. well done!
-
i bare arms now. sometimes i'm shy about doing so, but i've worked hard on them, so why not. you go for it!
-
i'm sick of water, but okay.....here goes
-
i don't think going over is too bad...although i've read too much of anything can be bad for you. i'm trying to go over on my protein actually, so if i'm in the red, i don't mind. not sure if going over a little will hurt.
-
right now what i was doing before, but less cardio. more strength training. i haven't figured out the food thing yet, but i want to limit my fat and sugar intake eventually to see if that helps. i'm on week 2 of maintenance so i'm a little lost....however with the weight loss, my belly looks much better, but there's still…

um, it's going to take a while for that to disappear. i'm working on that now. for me, it's the last fat to go. i've read strength training helps and of course cardio. it doesn't come off easy though, i'm doing both. it's getting smaller, but it will probably take months (for me anyway ).
