Thanks to all of you!! After I saw the first picture, I couldn't believe the way I looked, and I tried to avoid cameras for a long time, and it was even hard to see myself in a mirror. But it definitely gets better. You just have to keep going. I don't worry about looking fat in pictures anymore. I don't even know when I…

Thank you all so much!! It took a long time and a lot of work. When I feel like I'm getting nowhere, I'm just going to look at this picture. It inspires me to keep going, no matter how small the changes seem. Because a bunch of little changes eventually add up to a big change. :)

Wow. That is amazing. :) She looks gorgeous before, as well. She must be so dedicated. :D I have a question, though. I don't want it to be taken as criticism or anything; it is just a question I ask out of curiosity. Why are people in fitness competitions so tan? Is it a requirement? Or does it make it easier to see the…

I am a vegan. I just felt I should take the opportunity to tell you that not all vegans think like this. And we definitely don't all try to "convert" people. In fact, most of the vegans I have met are against pushing their beliefs on others. I just wanted to write that here so people don't get the wrong idea about us. Like…

I would love some motivation. :)

I am over every single day because of the fruit I eat. I ignore the sugar thing. You can hide the bar. Or I suppose it would be possible to go in and manually change the amount of sugar you allow yourself to consume. You can do this by choosing to manually set your calorie goal, macros, etc. I might do that, actually...

Hey. I'm 21, and I've been a vegan for almost 3 years now. Wow... Has it been that long? Haha. Anyway, I got a bit off track on weight loss for a while, but now I'm really determined to succeed. Feel free to add me if you want a vegan friend for support.

I thought it was because their carbs and protein are equal. And that most nuts have more carbs than protein. But I can't remember where I read or heard it.

Am I allowed to join? I'm actually about 13 pounds away from my goal weight, but I would love to join and get some motivation for finally reaching my goal. I've been stuck at this weight for too long now (and I've actually gained about 3 or 4 pounds...) Definitely could use some motivation. SW: 133 GW: 120

I would say to try bodyweight exercises if you don't/might not have access to weights. That's what I plan on doing when I travel. Here are some links that might be helpful: http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2010/12/20/the-20-minute-hotel-workout/…

Hello. I have OCD. However, it is not nearly as bad as it was when I was a child. (I worked very, very hard to stop my compulsive behavior, and the obsessions gradually reduced.) But in certain situations, I can feel my OCD start to resurface. When I first began counting calories on MFP, I experienced something similar to…

I want to start then as well! Only I might run Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday because it would work better with my schedule. Still, I would love support, and I'd be happy to support you!

Hey!! I'm another college student. You guys can feel free to add me. I just started my senior year. I'll gladly support a fellow student!

Maybe you should try barefoot/minimalist running. That's what I'm starting out on (I'm not quite a runner yet), but some runners have told me that switching to barefoot/minimalist running made running fun again. I don't know if it'll work for you, but it's a thought. :D

Dark chocolate. Melt it and use it as a dip for pretzels. You can also dip strawberries or other fruit in it. Or... Coconut milk ice cream with some peanut butter and strawberries. Or roasted cocoa almonds. I forget the actual name of them, but they are delicious. Unfortunately for me, I find it very difficult to just eat…

I eat peach skin and kiwi skin. I used to think eating kiwi skin was weird, but I got used to it. I eat the skin of almost all fruits and vegetables. I've even had watermelon rind. It's actually quite good.

I can definitely tell! Your stomach and back look slimmer, as does the back of your arms. Your bra also seems to fit nicer in the front. (I'm trying to find a way to say that that doesn't sound creepy because I totally don't mean it in a creepy way.) I think your progress is amazing!! You look wonderful. :D

Yes. When I look in the mirror, I feel like I don't look any different. I try on old clothes, and they are incredibly baggy, but it still doesn't register. The other day, I wanted to try on a skirt in this one store. The lady who worked there asked if I wore a small or a medium. I just stared at her. I couldn't believe…

I'll join. I'm actually 11 days in, and I had joined another group previously, but I take some rest days, so I've gotten behind that group... I'm going to try to push myself to do it 6 days a week from now on, though. :D

I lost 10 dozen eggs. Good thing I don't eat eggs; I have no reason to go find them. :D

Wonderful! :D

I finished day 10 today! :)

I'm in the same situation. My collarbones are super prominent, but I still want to lose 15 more pounds. I can't even stand people giving me shoulder massages anymore because they hit my collarbones and it hurts. But it isn't stopping me. I actually think collarbones are beautiful; I'm just wondering how that region is…
