I weigh myself everyday at the same time - sans clothes and before I eat breakfast. Sometimes I get a spike but I can usually attribute it to a salty meal the night before, etc. Weighing daily keeps me in check.

I have not been formally diagnosed but I do believe I have a sensitivity to Gluten. II have been Gluten free for about 3 weeks now. Wheat was making me bloated, lethargic and foggy. I feel so much better now.

I love my fitbit. I have the flex (it looks like a bracelet). I aim for 10,000 steps a day. It's a real eye opener. I have a desk job so it helps motivate me to at least walk once I get home so that I can reach my goal. Definitely worth the money in my opinion as you can also use it to track your sleep and you can connect…

He was under the impression that I didn't like his advice because he's a man - and maybe I mistakenly gave him that impression. I was not discounting what he said because he wasn't a 50 year old woman. That's the arguing that I am talking about.

Fair enough. Let's be clear, I don't care that you are not a woman. If you had sent me that long post that the other person had sent me that you wrote. I really would have appreciated it. A lot of people here have vouched for you here, so I want to say for the record that I am sorry that I got so frustrated with you. Like…

I really don't understand why he just didn't send it to me to begin with, sigh.

Agreed.

So for you it just wasn't about a calorie deficient, it was also about what you ate (your calories didn't change). This is exactly what I am talking about. Other variables that may come into play. Thank you.

"maybe consider your own responses when you ask a general question that has a simple response. " "you assumed that weight loss for women over 50 was somehow magically different." Sorry, but I felt that he wasn't here to help me - he was here to argue. What I say stands. He is clearly not a women over 50. I'm sure he has a…

Great advice!

Thanks for letting me know about the ignore button. I don't post that often so I wasn't aware. I don't mind hearing from him. I am just not here to argue and he would not let it go.

So sorry about your cervical cancer. Yes, so hard to lose, but I have gotten some really great advice here and some awesome support. Thanks for your post.
