Thanks for your honesty...I've heard good and bad things. I have a relative that's been on it for a few years and has only said that they've learned to control their cravings or make healthier choices but I'm still concerned that it's actually affecting my metabolism, regardless of overeating or not. Restless legs have at…

Thanks so much for your advice. I'm definitely following my psychiatrist's directions on medication. Last year I went off of adderall, prozac, seroquel and klonopin cold turkey along with stopping counseling and the results were terrible so trust me I will listen to whatever my doctor tells me. My doctor has actually…

Of course. I guess I didn't mention it in this thread but I see my psychologist regularly for talk therapy so I am in no way relying solely on medication or expecting results only from medication. Really, I believe that medication is just a small part of my recovery, however the one with the most negative side effects.

I would love some!! I actually came to this forum about to ask someone to be my accountability buddy! I've been doing decent with keeping up with my workouts but I'd like someone that I can report to and feel like I'm being held responsible for someone other than myself...hoping that way will turn into me doing things FOR…

Also...does the weight gain come from eating more or does the medicine actually have an effect on your body that slows your metabolism? Because the cravings I would have control over (with a lot of effort) but if it is causing weight gain that is out of my control than that is a bigger problem and I feel like would just…

It could be but I'm not sure, the adderall and zoloft definitely decrease my appetite, but I take those in the morning and the abilify at night with my 2nd dose of klonopin so maybe that's why. The cravings are at night and by then the adderall is definitely not still affecting my appetite.

I took seroquel before but didn't have any unusual cravings or weight gain. Maybe it's all in my head...

Stay busy, it's really hard to get out of the habit of not snacking even if you aren't hungry. It feels like you need to do something so you eat. Drink water...two months ago I only drank water when I took my medicine and I hated water, now I love it and drink it all day. You just have to force yourself to drink it. I find…

Thanks for the advice, I'm hoping I can get it under control. Its just weird to go from no appetite to huge cravings lol

I'm not sure. I'm currently also on adderall, zoloft, klonopin daily and then xanax as needed. I actually feel like I can see the abilify helping my depression already, maybe it's in my mind, I don't know. But that's why I'm not sure I want to risk switching to a different medication. I took seroquel before which is in the…

I've been woken up from panic attacks as well in the middle of the night and it's awful, they only happened when I wasn't on medication and now that I take klonopin I haven't had any at night. My recommendation is to just keep taking your medicine as the doctor prescribed it and cognitive therapy can help as well. I suffer…

Wow!! I always thought I was alone in this. I feel for every single one of you. I started having panic attacks a few years ago and I didn't know what was going on with me, I went to the emergency room because I thought I had a stroke (due to the tingling & numbness) and they just gave me medicine for my stomach and sent me…

I've gotten this especially when I started to gain weight...one girl actually said to me "Does your chubbyness(sp?) offend you?" I was like what...and she explained that she knew people were commenting on my weight and wanted to know if I was offended by my weight gain. Other people would say stuff like "You look nice and…

Oh yeah! Taking it at bed time is great but make sure you brush your teeth and get into bed before you take it because before you know it you'll be falling over! Hope it helps you!! Panic attacks are the worst!

Thank you!!!!

Just downloaded it!! And I got it for 1.99 too but it says its 50% for limited time so we got lucky!

Klonopin is strong and that dosage should definitely calm you down and possibly even put you to sleep, I used to take it and I couldn't even walk when I had to take it because it made me so drowsy. It will completely get rid of te anxiety you're experiencing during panic attack though which is the whole point. I take Xanax…

I've been on a few different types of anti depressants and only noticed a major weight change when I was prescribed Prozac, it caused me to not eat and therefore I lost a lot of weight and was completely lethargic for about 4 months until they finally took me off it it. I gained a ton of weight once I quit taking the…

Wow!!! You ran the whole mile? I can walk a mile but can't yet run one straight without having to stop and usually quitting because I get frustrated!! Do you run on treadmill or outside?
