My goal is between 120-125 and I am just shy of 5'6". I used to weigh around 118, and while that was nice, at the age of 37 now I don't think I could acheive that in a healthy way.

Just FYI, if you can do it, it does work. I did the first 14 days and followed to a T, keeping my diet straight and doing the stength and cardio. In 14 days I had dropped 10 pounds and sharank a size. If you are motivated by fast results, this was the ONLY program EVER that gave them to be. It's just really hard for me to…

Any idea about how many calories DDP burns? I have heard about this but don't personally know anyone who does it. How long are the dvd's too?

Does your husband doing anything else or just DDP? I'm trying to figure out if it's enough for weight loss (if combined with diet) When I say "enough" I mean, do I still need to do cardio & weights or will it burn enough calories to be my only workout? Any thoughts?

Was this the only workout you did? No cardio? I ask because I have a buldging disk and have been told to watch my workouts. I continue to do elliptical, kickboxing, etc because I have about 50 pounds to lose. Just wondering if thsi workout (with diet) is really enough to burn calories.

Well, at Walmart they have a 5 day box (5 breakfasts, 5 lunches, 5 dinners and 5 desserts) for $47. I do add in some extras like fruits and veggies and the occasional cottage cheese or oatmeal for snacks but it's much cheaper this way to order from Nutrisystem directly.
