You can check with Pantene. They have a donation program, but they are not as strict as others on what they accept. I didn't read other posts, so sorry if that's already been suggested.

I usually eat when I have a pre scheduled meal time. I eat breakfast in the morning around 7-8. Lunch is between 12-1. And dinner can really be any time, because by that time my body seems to be okay. For the past few months, I think something is up with my blood sugar or something though. Because I have had to start…

Start here. Make your first goal, not to lose 45 lbs, but to log consistently for one week. You may go over your goal, you may be under, you may be spot on, but log accurately and consistently for a week. Then next week, make your goal to be at your calorie target. The next week, add a few days of exercise that you like…

I have them on my stomach and hips, they've been there 13 years now. It wouldn't bother me so bad if they didn't make my belly button so deformed looking. I knew I had them all along, but they stand out to me more now, because of the loose skin I didn't know I had. But I've been working on body composition and maintaining…

It comes and goes. Some days, I look in the mirror and think "oh that's me, fat as ever. Chubby thighs, flabby belly." Some days, I look in the mirror and think "holy cow! THAT'S me?!" I am a size that I never thought I would see again, haven't been this size since I was 15 (of course vanity sizing could be a help with…

Peanut butter is not a protein source or a fat source. It is a happiness source. :drinker:

Yep.

I'm at the end of week 2. I like it so far. It definitely keeps me focused, as I am new to running and kind of unsure of distance and time.

I have the Cap set. I like them. You can individual plates as you need to to add more weight than what came with the set. Also, I have found a great work out that is based on dumb bells, if you don't have a place for bar. http://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/dumbbell-only-home-or-gym-fullbody-workout.html

When we had well water, I loved it! Now we have city water, I drink it but the taste is different. I buy 1 24 pack of bottled water every 4-6 weeks, for work. I save the bottles, wash them, and refill from our refrigerator dispenser. I use them until the bottle gets to crinkly and beat up and starts to leak.
-
I would also buy this.

Also, want to add, she references her "meal plan" a lot. You can find it on her web site. I didn't follow it, because I have a family to feed as well as myself, and DH does not like "healthy" foods. I also didn't cut to as low calories as she recommends (between 1200-1400), I stayed at 1600 without eating back exercise…

Just do it. I just started a few weeks ago. I honestly had thought I was in better shape, I've been lifting and doing some cardio DVDs for over a year. But, I can't keep the pace for long, so I'm definitely doing the run for 30 seconds, walk for a minute thing. But we got to start somewhere. And if we never start, we'll…
-
You're welcome. With that said, I did enjoy the DVD, and I also used ripped in 30 after that with good results also.
-
Not in a million years. I did lose several inches with that DVD the first time I did it, but I had a lot of inches to lose. You may lose inches, you may lose lbs, but you definitely will not get bulky. It takes literally years of intentional bulk/ cut cycles to get "bulky".

My husband has also commented to me things like this. I told we would see, that the "goal" I picked was just based off general numbers. Sometimes you feel done before you get there, sometimes you go further. After a fee weeks, he adjusted to the change and stopped talking about how "boney" I looked and commenting on how…

On men, I like 15%-20%. My DH is probably closer to 20%, but has some great ab definition when he flexes. On myself, I would like to be 20%-25%, I am not sure where I fall exactly right now, probably 25%-30%. I need to be re evaluated.

I only back into spots at my kids school, because they have a horrible parking lot, and without backing in it is hard to get someone to allow you to back out. So if you back in, then you can just pull out quick in a break in traffic. But in shopping centers or whatever, I pull through whenever I can. But I also don't mind…

Davpul, I hope there are no hard feelings between us. I thought you did make some very valid points regarding situational dangers, and how stereotypes can lend themselves to different situations. I don't think that anything you said was inappropriate or offensive. I do appreciate your input.

I get what you are saying. I don't have specific type of headphones, I usually just leave one out.

I fell victim to buying one about a year ago. It has set in my bathroom unused ever since. It would read 10% different in a time span of 2-3 minutes. I know our body fat and hydration levels may go up and down, but not that much that frequently!
-
Oh, I hadn't been back on the first page to see that anything had changed. I have never bothered with reporting posts, I didn't think anything said was offensive. And even if it was, it's just the internet right? Lol. There are some small parks with just small play ground equipment. Not really suitable for bikes and such.…

What are you talking about?
-
I'm not doing so well. I hit a rabbit with my car Friday. The kids are telling me I killed the Easter bunny. Oh you mean with MFP, not doing so well there this week either. Its hit and miss. I'll get it together soon, I guess.
-
That's what I thought too. Lol
-
Have you talked to him about it? He may not realize that he's making you feel that way. When I started losing weight and working on getting fit, my husband said something along the lines of finally having a hot wife. I just stopped talking and blank stared him. I could see the moment when it hit him as to how I interpreted…

I use the same brand and fit of jeans as a guide to my size. So if I buy a different brand or fit and they are bigger or smaller, I don't take it as a sign of any change. Its just the ridiculous nonstandard method of measuring that manufacturers use. I absolutely love it though, when shorts I bought last July are falling…

It depends on a lot of different things. It took 20 lbs to drop from one to the next, but I also think that was because they were too tight to start with. The jeans I bought to replace them, are loose, even with a belt now, after another 5-7 lbs. I still wear them, but they look a little slouchy. So, its really hard to…

I don't know what denomination they are. It really doesn't matter. The pastor's wife comes there to walk. She said the way they see it is that if they allow kids/families to be there, then at least they are on safe streets and not on the back roads were traffic is uncontrolled and they are at risk for getting injured. She…

I don't think you are anti-safety. And I get what you are saying. And honestly, now a day later and calmed down, you are right. I was safe enough probably. But I didn't panic, I didn't run screaming to my car and roll out tires squealing, I didn't call the police. I pretended they didn't bother me, and went about my…
