I like the treadmill. I run/power walk incline intervals and I burn a thousand calories in an hour.

I only eat my exercise calories twice a week (those are my cheat days...yes, I have two cheat days). Everyday, I plan my daily menu ahead of time and then figure out what my workout will be and how many cals I need to burn in order to leave a 500-700 cal deficit...with the exception of my cheat days but those are planned…

sophjakesmom, if you have an iPhone or iTouch...download an app called RunKeeper and use it in conjunction with your HRM. That's what I do :)

I love my Polar FT40. If you want GPS capability and have an iPhone...download RunKeeper and use them together. That's what I do and it works great!

I work out Monday-Friday for an hour in the morning before work where I do incline intervals of running/power walking. On the weekends I'll do my weekday workout plus add in weights. I will rest every 10 days or so...something I have to force myself to do unfortunately.

Another random and possibly strange fact about me: I have been to about 15 different Buffalo Wild Wings and beaten the Blazin' Wings Challenge...12 wings in 6 mins. I run 3 to 5 miles a day, 4 to 6 times a week. I weight train everyday alternating between upper and lower body. I don't take any vitamins. I do drink a third of a serving of my protein shake before and another third of a serving immediately afterwards.

I have a cup of Cheerios with a 1/2 cup of skim milk and then I drink a third of a serving of my protein shake. That usually keeps me full until my mid-morning snack.

Hi! I just started on protein shakes and wanted a lean protein. I went to GNC and they suggested I use AMP Pro Performance Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60.
