Suggestions on how to get there? Lol I've def always carried my weight in my mid-section. Lift more weights?

Also, watch your breathing. It really helps. For some reason, I have a tendency to hold my breath.

5'7" 162 lbs, size 10. started out at 176 size 14. been stuck at 160ish for many months. :(

Im new to running, but I agree that maybe you need to slow down. When I first started I wanted to run at a pretty quick speed. I find that I do much better if I just set a slow jog and work on build stamina. Thats my plan anyway.

I love this thread! I have only lost 17 lbs since Jan, but Im down to a size 10 pants from a size 14. My shirt size went from a size XL to a Med. (think I lost some boob, but thats okay lol-They were too big for my frame). I have more confidence. I feel strong and have more energy. I have inspired people around me.

Great job! Our starting weight is very close. I am 5'7" and startign counting calories at the end of Jan 2012. I just started exercising about two months ago. I am now at 159. I hope to get to 145. Great inspiration. I love how young everyone looks once they've lost weight. You look great!
