Ahhhh I see.... so what you're actually trying to say is that 1lb of muscle weighs more than 1lb of fat. I get it now! Thanks! :flowerforyou:

All your suggestions so far have been amazing, but why the 1900 cals? I would suggest around the 400 mark, that way you'll lose the weight so much quicker and retain muscle at the same time. I just don't understand these people that want to eat so much food. I feel full on 700 calories... any more and I'm just being…

What is your carb macro set to? Do you go consistently over it even after logging exercise? Our macros can be the most important thing sometimes, esp if we don't pay close attention to carbs. I'll wait for your answer before explaining why I asked... No point getting an essay from me if it's not gonna help! :)

This was me all the time... during a decade of eating too little. I now fuel my body correctly (eat 2000+) and strength train, and I now tend to even live on the warmer side of life. I still have friends who are cold all the time from not eating enough.

I never saw the number 1200 ever ever EVER again on my screen.

Oh this doesn't sound like a big deficit AT ALL. In fact, at 1200 calories, you're probably going over your TDEE so muscle would definitely be retained here, I'm actually surprised your not gaining muscle as some of the other magical 1200 calorie eaters are. Wizardry FTW!

Sushi is my fave food in the whole wide world!! I make it fit my macros and enjoy it all the time. :drinker:

How do any of those things directly refer to a non-paleo diet? Yeesh....

Same reason all the women starving on the magical 1200 calories are

Ahhh the joys of body re-composition :)

Why the hell would you EVER want to stop eating beef and bacon????? Are you CRAY CRAY??????????

$6 or something per month? Nothing worth sneezing at, anyway :)

I think one of the most important differences is that the BMF is much more accurate for strength training burns. So if you do a lot of lifting, you'd be better going with the BMF. If you're all cardio, either of them would be pretty good  I  my BMF, but I'm primarily lifting so that's why it works so well for…

if it fits your macros, it's not too much :) that's what our food diary is for!

Cheese!!!!! I eat soooo much cheese and never get sick of it!! Greek yogurt, cheese, nuts, protein bars, cheese, protein shakes, cheese. Did I mention cheese?

What was going on is that you had well over a 1000 calorie deficit, so no wonder you weren't losing. Your body was holding onto everything it could. And frankly, I'm tired of seeing you post this everywhere. 2700 is a reasonable burn in a very active person. Eating 2400 would have had you at a reasonable deficit. Also, if…

Muscle growth, fat loss, and a food diary that makes me drool from just looking at it.

Hey there. Not sure what your calorie target is like at the moment but lifting and eating at true maintenance will change your body composition and give you enough energy for heavy lifting. A small deficit (around 200 calories) would be ok if you still want to drop a bit of fat, but you already look quite lean. I would…

Have you seen this amazing woman? Sounds like you need to see this woman. from gokaleo.com Also, Lorina, you are absolutely freakin amazing. I have seen your posts since I joined and I just love everything you do and everything you stand for, and your dedication to paying it forward. :flowerforyou: Edit: the end of that…

I remember reading a book called "The Pick-Up Artist" where this guy turned very socially awkward guys into pick up kings. They all started by walking around the city all day, just saying hello to women, any woman they could possibly say hello to, or asking for the time, or asking for directions, etc etc etc. After a few…

My body comp has been changing for awhile now, have been slowly dropping BF, and my stupid stupid boobs DO NOT CHANGE. I'm a DD-E. All I've ever wanted is smaller boobs. I've come to the realisation that it may never happen. Nobody ever notices my body has changed because my boobs just look huge and make my upper body look…

Another one here! Eating at a moderate cut at the moment of 1800, but do stints at maintenance of 2100 (I sit at my stupid desk ALL day, if I didnt, I would eat more). Ideally in the long run I'm hoping to get my maintenance cals up to about 2300 but have a bit of BF to lose first. I lift heavy. I love it. My macros are…

I love this so much!!! Wish my PMS went away when I upped my cals... alas

<<---- yep! "overweight" here too! Btw, OP your legs are mind-blowingly AMAZING!! Everyone else... throw your scales away. I actually don't know how much I weigh at the moment and I couldn't care less.
-
You won't. Women do not produce enough testosterone to even come close to bulking up. Lift heavy, you won't regret it.
-
LOL. So what you're saying is, there's not enough blood in your brain to come up with a message. I understand.
