it's always been my trouble area. my legs have always been lean and they always have the quickest changes. i know my tummy fat is going to take a lot of muscle in other areas to help melt it away. in all honesty, i'm giving it 2 years to start deflating. you need to be patient. it's a small calorie deficit and muscle…

Such an awesome, positive post. I'm really really happy for you and they are all sensational NSVs!!!

Thanks for sharing! Friend request coming your way ;)

Thanks for sharing T

In all honesty, I don't think I ever started this journey with the perception it was going to be "easy". The only easy part is eating more yummy foods!! And that was after reading EVERYTHING. Every sticky, every article, everything I could get my hands on. I was always prepared for the scale to go up, always prepared for…

brilliant story, and thanks for sharing the whole journey. you look INCREDIBLE. Go EM2WL, throw out that scale!!
-
I love that you're all getting great results from pump. I think it's definitely a good platform to start training muscles and then make your way into heavier stuff for different goals later on if that's what you want. i'm sticking with my NROL for the moment :)
-
What do you mean by better results? More fat loss? Bigger muscles? Higher burn? Staying power? Can you pls be more specific :). As Crystal said, the science is behind heavy lifting for body composition results and pump for endurance so if you're talking about composition I find that really genuinely interesting! Pump did…

Fantastic!!!

yay!!!! more proof to ditch the scale ;) congrats!!! :D
-
I would tend to agree here... 20% cut is not recommended. 300 cal deficit has been researched as the maximum cut for women to get the best results. Can you give us some more details/numbers so we can help? :)
-
yep, i would also turn for Olivia!! I've had a girl crush on her since House. No, actually before that on the OC!! And also Kate Beckinsale because when she wears those PJ shorts in "Click" her legs are utter perfection.

... to you, to EM2WL, to Kiki & Lucia, to the whole thing. Love it, love everything about it, and love supporting my EM2WL friends that make me feel like we're in it together. It is now a sustainable way of life where I never have to deprive myself of anything. It also amazes me how much my attitude to non-food…
-
Agreed!! It made me tired looking at all you do lol, that's awesome you have the energy for all that!
-
You have it totally figured out!! Well done and I really hope you enjoy the extra cals, it's awesome eating so much and still dropping fat :D Just a word of advice... don't use the scale for an accurate measure of progress. It may not ever move downward again (certainly hasn't for me). Mirror, clothes, photos and…

Fantastic NSV, fantastic decision to up those cals!!! I remember the sheer joy of the hunger monster on week 1 of upped calories. It was like this creature had been pushed down inside me for years with VLCD and as soon as I started eating again, it came out screaming more more more and thrashed around wildly for a couple…

I absolutely love that you guys have reset for 12 weeks.... that is so inspiring!! Good luck with your cuts. I know what you mean about enjoying food, I sure as heck look forward to my TDEE weeks/diet breaks that I have once every few weeks - it's only a couple of hundred calories more each day but I definitely make the…
-
Bump bump bump! Thank you so much Lucia, I know so many people who would really appreciate reading this.
-
Hahaha I just love that!
-
I would definitely be starting off with a few weeks (6-8 if you can) eating at TDEE. That way you're readjusting your metabolism and promising it that you have stopped the VLCDing. Then go to 10 or 15% cut. I would recommend 10%, you don't have a lot to lose at all. Are you strength training? That helps too. Also, always…
-
With EM2WL it's not all about the scale, you have to remember that. Eating more means your muscles are getting more fuel, which means you may end up weighing more even though you'll be leaner. Much better to go with measurements & photos.
-
That's pretty freakin awesome!! Thank you for sharing :D
-
I would say if you're walking around all day, definitely moderate or even strenuous activity level!
-
I work in an office job as well, but because I workout, my activity level is set to moderate. Do you exercise at all? If so, then you'd definitely come under the "light activity" level and your cals should be higher. Would you mind sharing your numbers so we can help a bit more?
-
You look absolutely amazing!! Very inspirational!!!
-
I totally understand your frustrations, I really really do... but why would you want to give up a lifestyle change that is much healthier for you and WILL work in the long run. Why go back to cutting calories, being hungry all the time, yo-yo-ing with your weight, all that horrible stuff when you can just do it nice and…
-
Such awesome results!! Very happy for you! Yep - after months of EM2WL & heavy lifting my body has TOTALLY changed but I weigh the same (if not more) than when I started. I have never weighed myself all that much as I don't own a scale, so I can never be totally sure. All I do know now, is that I weight a heck of a lot…
-
Yep, sports bra, PLUS sports crop underneath anything I wear for anything remotely related to working out. I love Lorna Jane - but I think that's only available here in Oz? I hate my boobs *sigh*. They never EVER change, I could lose 20kg and they would still be the same. I know so many girls would love to be in that…
-
Wow you have done an amazing job of getting to where you are!! You should be SO proud of yourself, especially for having the courage to do a full reset. Feel free to add me as a friend and I will offer plenty of support! I did the VLCD thing for years and am finally managing things with lots of lifting and lots of…
-
Perfectly said. Agree with everyone here... I know it's an odd idea, that you need to increase calories even more, but it definitely works - and it's much more fun!! Also - don't forget to measure/take photos - the scale ALWAYS lies. :)
