Awesome link, thanks!

I wasn't strong enough to do it through mine (the smell of cooked food, especially meat, made me so sick!), but my OBGYN had no issues with me doing it for the two weeks I was able. She said the baby would get what she need before me, so I didn't need to worry about hurting the baby at all. My sister in law has to follow a…

Very true!

I had that day yesterday, and it was totally my fault because I ate a Quest bar for my breakfast. Even though it is made with Stevia, it totally sets my body into crave mode. I usually only eat them toward the end of the day so I can just go to bed instead of eating! Is there something you are eating that may be triggering?

I just want to be a good example to my daughters. Being able to be active and set an active life style for them would be my wish.

Mine went away before (lost 70 lbs over 8 months, had baby and gained it all back  ) I did notice that in certain light in a certain mirror that I now hate, there were marks almost like stretch marks very faintly tracing up chin to my neck. As much as I hated seeing it, it was way better than a double chin! My…

Yeah, the reason it gave bad grade were for all the reasons low carbers would usually like it. I will get them tomorrow and see if they are the same ones. Thanks for the link and info!

I have not used fooducate. Would you please explain how it doesn't like it? I was halfway out the door to Costco! LOL
-
LOL Yes. I really have to remind myself to look at the overall loss as sometimes there is just no reason for a weight gain!
-
Anyone can add me! A lot of my people stopped logging. :(

I think I may have just fallen in love with you, aeb09.

I would think cutting the yogurt out completely or maybe only once a day would really help. Everyone is different, but I don't think you are eating low enough carb wise. I have best results when staying below 25 carbs a day. 50-60 carbs a day is too high for me to reach ketosis. Good luck! Once you figure it out, it is…

Besides what everyone else said, when I am getting back into ketosis and feel hunger pains, I always think back to how much water I have had that day. Usually I haven't had enough, and that is what I am feeling. Sometimes I really am hungry though! You will learn a lot about listening to your body through this way of…

Making an iced bullet proof coffee. :(

I tried these last week. The seasoning needs adjusting, in my opinion. They just tasted bland, and I didn't care much for the rosemary. But they were really good! We liked them a lot, just need some tweaking. :)

Congrats! I had the same results, and it is a great feeling!

What does "loads" of water mean? If I don't get enough water, my pulse increases dramatically. As soon as I get more water I am fine. I drink 3 liters a day, through out the day, and have no problems now. If you are working out 45 minutes, you might need even more (I don't currently work out). Something obviously needs…

I have the bacon everyday. Love it! Eggs are only a once and a while for me though.

Very good work, congratulations! I'm glad you were able to succeed.

People don't realize just how much fat Japanese people eat! Fatty cuts are extremely expensive as they are more coveted. A lot of dishes are very fatty, and it is pretty common for Japanese women to cut out rice, pasta and bread if they want to lose a few pounds. Quite a few sweets are made with Stevia instead of sugar or…

That's awesome! I started keto around the same time as you, and I have my first Dr's appointment since then in February. I'm really curious to see my lab work as my cholesterol was getting pretty high last year at this time. Congrats on your hard work!
-
Very interesting. I am reading the rest of the article now. Thank you!
-
Congratulations! It feels so freaking good not seeing that number on the scale every morning anymore, so I know how you feel!
-
LMAO! This just made my morning.

I really think you are stressing for no reason. :) I have encountered little stalls like this, and they always resolve quickly. You know what you are doing is working, just give it time to work. And drink water! lol If you want more in depth ideas, you would need to open your diary. I think you are fine, though, from what…

Definitely the increase in water! It makes a HUGE difference on keto.

I remember in high school there was a girl that was on the bigger side that wore a leotard underneath that matched the uniform, but covered/held in her stomach. No one thought it was a big deal at all. Definitely continue to work on getting in shape, and do NOT give up the team! You will definitely regret it!

I agree that opening your journal would really help to give ideas of what might be holding you back. I started mid-October and eat anywhere from 1200-1800 calories a day a try to stay below 20 net carbs a day. You can add me as a friend and check out my journal if you like! I'm pretty repetitive, but it works best for me…

My favorite is very simplistic. Just 2 tablespoons of PB, 1 tablespoon coconut oil and 1/2 teaspoon of cocoa powder. It's about 30g fat, 8g protein and I think 4 net carbs. I've tried other fat bombs, but this one is the one I consistently love the most. I am curious to try others, though, so hopefully more people will…
