Love body weight workouts ...:you can do them anywhere without needing equipment. Plus when you are over weight, it really reminds you how much extra weight you are lugging around! Mark Lauren's "You Are Your Own Gym" military workout books and DVDs are really good and quick and effective!

Interval training...try doing ur usual cardio alternating super fast then slow and repeat...I love doing this on the treadmill ...burns a ton of calories in a fraction of the time compared to jogging at a steady pace and u get faster results in as little as a 20 minute workout.

Born that way! 10lbs at birth... But, now I'm getting to my ideal weight, finally!

Love ur graph! What a great idea! I believe in daily or at least almost daily weigh-ins. I know weight fluctuates but this helps me stay on track...bc I want to see the smaller numbers on my scale not larger ones!

I can't imagine living on 480 cals a day let alone working out on top of that.... I think I would be bedridden if I lived on so few calories!

I was totally trying to avoid it but.. I had a flat tire at lunch and spent my whole lunch break getting that fixed and had to go back to work without lunch. I was getting hypoglycemic so ended up eating 2 mini-crunch bars from the halloween basket at the mechanics to to keep me going! And then it was downhillf from there!…

Drink lots of water like 2 glasses with meals and eat high fiber foods...that helps keep you full. And, when you feel like eating chips try Kale Chips (although the seasoned ones can really add up in calories), raw cashews, or salted dry roasted almonds...crunchy and salty but has lots of protein and nutrients!

Love how it trimmed your middle...that's the best place to lose! I need Jillian to take off 2 inches off my waist...waiting to start JM Body Revolution when it arrives in the mail. CONGRATS!

Wow... I totally did not mean to offend anyone. I know all about the benefits of weightlifting (agility, strong bones, better blood sugar control ect)...I'm a huge kettlebell fan and most of my workouts involves weights/resistance, more than cardio. When I would tell male friends of mine (outside MFP) that I workout with…

Thanks for the feedback, folks! I feel so much healthier doing the low carb thing, but I STILL struggle with high-carb cravings!!! But, it looks like regular cheat days/meals would NOT be a good solution to this problem especially since it might throw me off track. Some ideas I've hears so far is taking some chewable-fruit…

Thanks for your ideas! Keep them coming. Can't wait to try the brownies!

Mmm....I've got so many high-carb weaknesses: Dad's oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies, Harvest Crunch granola cereal, Hershey's milk chocolate drops....

I spend roughly $250-300/mo on myself...and this includes household supplies and I eat mostly organic/grass fed. I think I actually spend less going low carb than before... no rice, bread, sugar-laden fruit, jellies, chocolate, cereal ect...

I'm all about strength training. You might not be able to log as many calories as those who do straight cardio only but it will pay off in the long run with more lean muscle mass, more fat burned and a higher metabolism!

According the link, i am medium sized. My wrist measures 6.25 inches and I'm 5'6", so my ideal body weight is 130 lbs. Interesting...I always thought I was just "BIG BONEDED!...lol. Yikes...more weight to lose. http://www.ehow.com/how_2346297_determine-body-frame-size.html

Never! I go by how my clothes fit.... and just keep buying smaller size clothes. My goal is a 4 and I'm an 8 now, down form a 13!. I've gotten so addicted to weighing myself in the past....with all the day-to-day weight fluctuations, I was on a constant emotional roller coaster. So, I'm saying "no" to the scale now!
