Hi, on the lookout for new friends, all my old ones seem to have gone inactive! So needing daily motivation and a swift kick up the bum

Sadly they don't do them here on the Isle of Man. But keen(ish) runner. Always on the lookout for new running buddies to kick my butt when i am slacking.

Hello, From the IOM looking for running buddies :) Got myself a VLM place and currently 2 stone overweight so on a mission to shift it and train at the same time :)

Hi, I don't know why i put "love" as it takes all my willpower to get out of the door to do it, but once i am out i am ok :) LOVE it when i am done. haha. I have the Liverpool Half on Sunday, Edinburgh Half in May, Gateshead 10K July, GNR in Sept and 2 local halves at the end of the year. So i must like it on some level :)…

I would like to be part of this challenge. Sounds just what i need.

Don't care what people think about you, the majority of them won't be looking anyway, and those few that are, just jealous that you have decided to change your life for the better, so middle finger to them and just run girl :)
-
hi, i appear on the first sheet but not on the second sheet?
-
Hi, I am in the Isle of Man. Always on here, diary is open, runner myself (doing GNR in less than 2 weeks). Feel free to add me. Kat

I go to the gym with my husband! BUT he does his thing, i do mine as we have different goals etc. Maybe you could workout a plan for her to follow and explain that you may have different goals to her but if you want to go to gym together, she needs to chill out and just get stuck into her own thing?? I dunno give it a try?
-
Done....i have put 50 for this month as my training will be slowing down a bit and then might take a week or so off after the GNR as a reward. Oh crikey Sonya that ace, well done you ! I think that may have to be my goal for October.

Hi, I am going to attempt this and do it this time, unlike March's disgraceful attempt. My training has started for the great north run already, and got a fair few miles in last month. So......80 miles for July for me please. Thanks Kat

Isle of Man here :)

I've lost nearly 60lbs and gone from a 18 to a 8/10 (UK size). took a while to get down from 18 to a 16 but then i felt like i was constantly having to buy new clothes after that.
-
Yay. What was your time last year Fran? x
-
I find that when people are negative towards you if its becuase you have lost weight, or wearing something different etc, it stems from jealously and the fact they don't have the willpower or balls to do it. Ignor the haters, its what you think and feel that matters, bugger everyone else. :) Kat x
-
Feel free to add me. 32 from Isle of Man. Lost 59lbs - got another 13lbs to go. Currently training for the great north run.

<profile picture is 58lbs loss. Incidently it was taken in the same place, but 3 years apart. :)
