You are pre-programmed to stay hydrated. Most of us get thirsty and we drink. Simple. In fact, to be dehydrated, you probably need to be down several pounds of water (about three for an average person) before you hit mild dehydration. By then most of us would have taken a moment to drink and fixed the deficet. This process…

Def the shark. Because that means I was probably diving in some exotic place in warm water. Diving is like flying weightless. It's sureal and random. It would be like taking your last breath in a beautiful dream (which, sadly, ends with exsanguination). :)

Sure it will. So you have to work a little harder to overcome the challenge. I have worked a rather random shift pattern for my entire adult life (emergency room). Whether I wake up at 5am or 3pm, I treat the first meal as breakfast and then spread my meals and snacks through the day. You still need to snack so that you're…

Me too!! And make fart sounds with my bare hands. :)

Good for you for keeping up with your exercise! Plus... you're eating a high protein snack. I would keep up the great work and snack as you please.

Not everyday. Some days, after a typical 800 or so cals of exercise, I'm short by up to 500-600 cals. But I do have one planned "cheat day" per week where I intentionally splurge by 10-30% of my caloric goals for the day. It works for me. :)

You look like a very friendly person. :)

I'm a heck of a nice guy. :)

For fat burn you need more cardio. Do your weights every other day. Rotate through the major muscle groups. Give your muscles time to recover. You can do some form of cardio 6/d per week. Try different cardio routines to keep it interesting. Good luck!

I would look at your numbers every 10 pounds or so. As you lose weight you need fewer calories. For a second opinion, check out the calculators at www.weightrainer.net

18! (ok, I cheated)

I buy my fruit frozen in large bags. Usually strawberries and blueberries. I buy fresh banana and cut them in half. At the beginning of the month I get zip lock bags and make up my fruit packs. Usually about 30 at a time. 1/2 banana 4-5 whole large frozen strawberries handful of frozen blueberries Each morning I blend…

Another vote for Polar FT7. Cheap. Accurate. :) I didn't have luck with the expensive Timex Ironman.

Good for you! I am often reminded that a gallon of milk weighs about 8 1/2 pounds. I've lost about 50 pounds. That is about 6 gallons of milk I was carrying around with me all the time!

I started my most recent body transformation in June, 2011. I was wearing size 42 pants and XXL T-shirts. Over the last six months I've lost 48 or so pounds and am now wearing size 34 jeans and L shirts very comfortably. Actually, I'm only a couple pounds away from size 32 jeans! I didn't buy them yet, but my next goal is…

No gym here. I would never keep up with my program if I had to travel somewhere to do it. We started with P90, running and now P90X videos.

Yo! Count me in. :)

"Timex's I'm pretty sure don't let you enter sex or age.. just weight and max heart rate...at least thats what mine did. SInce it does not let you enter gender, it assumes you are a male..." This one asks: Birthdate Gender Weight Height Type of activity (running)

The iPhone App "Ease into 5K" is great. And when you're done that one you can do the "Bridge to 10K" App. It is also great (I'm half way through it). Be sure to rest between workouts as your body needs time to recover, especially in the beginning! Good luck!

I didn't gain anything!

I weigh weekly. I'm trying to weigh less (pun intended). My real goal is to reduce body fat and increase lean mass. As I reach some of my goals the scale has become less important. :)
-
I loved C25K! I'm now on Bridge to 10K :) I was up to about 20mi/wk, but cut back to do P90X. Just try to stick with it. The days off in-between runs are essential to your success. You need time to re-coup. Good luck!

If I'm going to have two beers at the end of the day, I make sure I've got the calories available on my log for it. Or... I wait for "cheat" day. :) Cheers!

Good for you!!
