  • The Elliptical burns more calories and is less wear on your joints. If your goal is cardiovascular health and calorie burn, then the elliptical is the way to go. :) If you want to improve running....go run.

  • On days I do just cardio I don't eat because then I start with low blood sugar and the body immediately starts to burn from reserves...you burn more fat. On days I do strength training I eat an hour before. It makes a big difference in my energy level and overall intensity.
