I think you went from beautiful to thin and beautiful. Great job being brave enought to take your own path to get where you wanted to be. If I knew how to make that flower smiley...it would be right here.

I have a 2 year old and I'm 34.

To look good sitting down, which is what I do all day at work, and standing up.

before I was 10yrs old my father told me that I would have to starve myself to be skinny. After that I never heard fat comments but I was always afraid that I might hear them. I was in my mid-20s and walking down the street with my younger brother and sister. I had lost 50 lbs and at 210 was more attractive and confident…

OP I'd choose broke and weigh less. If those were the only two choices.

I loooooooooove sweets too. 1. I will eat welch's 100% juice fruit snacks or 2. I ate oatmeal (flavored instant) instead of the king size hershey bar that I thought about for an hour. or 3. Greek yogurt (flavored, oikos or yoplait taste best to me) or 4. Milk and cereal (it keeps me away from cookies and cakes and candy…

5'5" Goal 180. I'll re-evaluate when I get there. (I was 180ish when I graduated highschool 15 years ago and it's a good goal for me.)

This. Total cuteness, I agree.

It's a great accomplishment to have inspired your husband to join you. Great job on sticking with it.

This was a very interesting argument and I agree with your thoughts on the shifting values where something that was once a focus of so much attention becomes not as important when other things in life begin to gain. OP, also I think that being young is a point of favor. Your neural connections are more easily built and…

I believe mine is sedentary but I don't eat the exercise calories. To me they are a bonus deficit and I'm not working out a bunch so I don't think I need them. I'm at 245 and 1600/day which says it's 1.5 lbs/week.

Holy smackaroos man! Your lady must be so proud of your hard work!

Mkwongh- 26?

20# for me, from females but that was a while ago. I heard it from my cubicle buddy, male, the other day at 34# down. I don't expect to hear anything again until I hit 40. I think that 20 or 25 is my magic number.

I second this!

Confidence is key, internally generated, whatever the reason. I may look physically the same but when my mood swings, I go from 'don't notice me and I think you're a creeper if you look at me, let alone talk to me, I just want to be alone' to 'inside I think I AM awesome! I'm going to laugh and joke and check you out and…

This is me. Reserved around strangers then BAM! loud, laughing and sometimes loose of tongue. Oh, and I'll join in giving the whoopins being handed out.

This is fantastic! I'm going to share it with my sister. Thanks for the tip!
