Exercise more, but make sure you eat back the calories. Muscle burns more than fat. I have noticed a massive difference since I upped my exercise in Aug.

I agree, eat the ice cream, fit it in your macros for the day, do some more exercise if you have to. I lost my weight by still having treats.

I ate 800 cals of chocolate yesterday! For me it was a combination of not enough sleep the night before, pushing myself at body pump which then lead to me being very tired and grumpy. Food felt like a good idea - at the time..

I just have a square or two as well. Break off the choc and leave it in the kitchen, if you are lazy like me then it can help to stop you having more!

Check your body fat in the evening, you will be higher BF in the am due to dehydration.

I have a main course one, trimmed lamb steak, madras curry paste, cinnamon pod, bay leaf, 6 cardamom pods, crushed garlic and low fat greek yogurt. Really Yummy and low fat if made with good lamb steak.

I do not agree that 1200 is crash dieting. I lost my weight overall at a rate of lb per week which is a sensible rate. I did eat back any additional calories burnt exercising or even doing cleaning. I am now upping my cals to maintain my weight.

I would say no. In my experience your body shape will dictate that. I am pear shaped and my fat goes off the top half first, then stomach and then hips, bum, legs. If you are apple then I would expect that the stomach would be the last to go.

I have found the 1200 per day fine, but only because I exercise 3 times per week and then eat the additional 1500 cals burned over fri to sun. Worked for me, lost my 14lbs over 3 months, so a nice 1lb per week. I count my calories over a full week instead of day by day, but I do not go under 1200. I am used to low cal…

Thanks guys, my bmi is 20 so still ok. I do not really want to loose more weight I just want to loose my baby belly which as I put on 3.5 stone (49lbs) during pregnancy it streched my skin and now despite have good muscle the underneath and have very saggy skin. I do not suppose there is much I can do about it.

I have a weekly cleaner and she does all of my ironing, love it. She comes for 2.5 hrs per week for the cleaning and we live in a 4 bed house. She does the same things every week really so i still need to deep clean each room from time to time. Still have loads and loads of tidying to do with a 3 and 5 year old!

Hiya, just keep going, I always eat back my calories but usually on the weekend as a treat as I can not stand eating only 1200 cals everyday. It has worked for me. It does mean I gain on the weekend and then loose during the week, overall always loosing on a week by week basis. I think a week and a half could be too early…
