Took my monthly "progress pics" last night and saw a noticeable difference compared to two months ago. Scale hasn't moved a whole lot so I was kind of surprised by this, but I guess the workouts are paying off.

So from experience a lot of it depends on how you carry your weight. I was about 320lb on my last visit and barely squeezed into Tatsu, Apocalypse and Green Lantern, and had to skip Riddler. But the coasters you *might* be OK on are Batman, Scream (look for the "big boy" seats with two seatbelts on both of those, I think…

I agree that it's 80/20, and I can lose weight through diet alone, but I've found that doing both together keeps me more motivated. If I exercise regularly I tend to make better food choices, because I don't want all of that exercise to be for nothing.

Every pair of pants I own now fits, so I had to buy a new pair of goal jeans on the weekend.

Going on vacation next week. Two months ago set myself a goal that some smaller shirts and shorts would fit in time for my trip. Tried them on last night with success! Will be great to wear clothes that fit well, it's amazing how quickly my old gear has become very baggy.

Happy to have new friends added. In Melbourne. Down 20kg so far, another 45 to go.

I don't have a cheat day, am just conscious of only having one or two "less healthy" meals each week. This has backfired in the past though, as my body decided it didn't want to deal with greasy food after a week of grilled chicken and vegies!

I reckon I walked about 10km/day while I was there! Back-and-forthing between rides (and parks!) to make the most of the FastPass system takes a lot of walking. Take a good pair of shoes though - nothing worse than waiting in line with a blister.

Weetbix with milk and blueberries, a banana and a glass of milk. Occasionally I'll do scrambled eggs.

I've been using Pura Light Start for ages - tastes much better than any other low-fat milk.

Music's a pretty personal choice, as what works for you will mostly come down to taste. I went through my iTunes library and picked out a bunch of songs I want to hear while I'm working out, then split them into approx 45-minute long playlists. Couple of tips: - if a song isn't working for you, swap it out - don't start…

When I do end up eating fast food I always opt for a lower-calorie burger and have a sugar-free soda, no fries. Still not the most nutritious food but at least it doesn't wreck your healthy eating plan.

1. Muse at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne - December 2010 2. Neon Trees at The Prince Bandroom, Melbourne - November 2011 3. Good Charlotte at The Forum, Melbourne - November 2011 (they played Weezer's Blue Album in its entirety then another 90 minutes of their own stuff!)

Going to shell out on a proper club jersey from each of the AFL/rugby league/soccer teams I support.

Well done to all. I'm looking forward to this time next year, hopefully I'll have my own pair of transformation pics to show off!

My boss is a senior executive at a bank, not only are both his arms covered in tattoos, he just bought a tattoo parlour and has offered me mates' rates when I get my first! Suggest staying away from anything on your face or neck, for the first one at least.

Another one here. Looking to lose about 50kg over the next 12 months.

I shop at Safeway/Woolworths most of the time, and their house brands are OK, especially for staples like eggs, flour etc. I find I'm making most of my meals from scratch these days so 80% of my shopping is fresh produce, but definitely stick to brands I like when it comes to bread (Abbott's Country Grain), milk (Pura…

One more, from Melbourne. Go Storm, Rebels, Bombers and Victory!

I know exactly how you feel - for me the measure of success isn't necessarily what the scales say, but which notch I can buckle on my belt. After a few weeks I'm already down to the last notch, will be time for a new belt soon. The big achievement will be going into a store and not having to shop in the big mens section.
