Since I was a teenager I've always been at least a size 2XL, up to 6XL at my biggest. Today I am wearing a large, in public! OK it's just a hoodie and I'm still working towards my goal, but kind of pumped to be sporting clothing without an "X" in the size!

Clothes going from "fits well" to "baggy" way too quickly - rewarding yet annoying at the same time!

I've had a few people tell me "you look great" and I'm not even 50% of the way to my goal. Great to get some random encouragement even though there's still plenty of work to do!

I definitely belong in this group. Track everything and easily fit in "treats" within my calorie target. 50 pounds down so far while enjoying pizza, ice cream sandwiches and banana bread the whole time!

My hobby is going to theme parks and riding rollercoasters. In the past I've had to squeeze in to some rides, use the "big boy" seat, or even occasionally get denied if I didn't fit the restraint. Just back from a two week trip, not once did I have any issues with a ride or use the "special" seats - super happy with that…

Down to size 38 pants, and happy with how they look! Can't remember the last time I bought anything below a size 40 (or larger)!

I've been doing the same thing, seems like every Saturday I'm dropping off a bag of clothes to goodwill. Feels good to work through all of the stuff in my closet that was previously too small.

Getting way more selective about what I wear these days. Used to be enough for a shirt to just "fit", now I'm looking at how well it fits, what the sleeves look like, are the shoulders right, and so on. Great to have more options and be picky!

Started with 140 to lose, down 69 so far. Getting there by losing one pound at a time...

Having a few wins lately: - shirts size is going from XXL to XL - previously too-small pants are now baggy - flights are getting more comfortable - more slack in the seatbelt, legs not pushing into the armrests, plenty of room between the tray table and my stomach - fitting on rides at a theme park without the attendant…

I've noticed this too - even realised how much lighter my new clothes are compared to the old ones!

One more belt thrown out as it's too big. And down a notch on another belt. Being able to fit smaller clothes is a far better progress indicator than the scales!

18 months ago I was wearing size 48 shorts. Just tried on a pair of 38's and they fit, great to be buying pants with a "3" at the start of the size (and I don't mean 3XL!).

Don't really consider it a sacrifice, but I've swapped an hour of TV for a workout each evening. Feels like a much better use of my time!

I weigh daily, but don't typically compare how much I've "lost" since the day before. I compare to one or two weeks ago instead - gives a much better picture of the overall trend.

SW 325 CW 275 GW 175 40 pounds in, swapped out the old baggy jeans for a better fit and started to get comments.

If someone sees me eating something they consider "unhealthy" - "if you didn't eat that you'd lose weight faster." Ugh. Also people trying to push a juice fast on as a legitimate diet, ignoring the fact that juice is mostly sugar.

I have a banana as an afternoon snack almost every day, down 55lbs so far. Like any foods, fine in moderation and just make sure you log in your diary. Frankly a banana is far more satisfying than packaged foods which might contain a lot more calories!

Bought a "slim fit" pair of pants for the first time in my life. They look and fit a whole lot better than the baggy jeans they're replacing.

Seems like almost every weekend lately I'm taking a few items down to the local goodwill store, feels good to get rid of the bigger clothing when newer, smaller items fit well (and look better!). I've spent money on some weights and gym mat, that's about it. My apartment isn't big enough to have too much equipment lying around, so I mostly do bodyweight exercises.
