Welcome!! I have seen users post progress pictures on here. It's probably as safe as any other message board. Use you personal discretion .. whatever you are comfortable sharing on the world wide web :)

Eeek , I am sorry you are going through this. Technically a pregnancy test can be taken 2 weeks after ovulation but since you aren't planning a pregnancy you probably aren't sure when that happened. You can probably take one in another week though since it will be two weeks after intercourse. Are you sure he "finished" (if…

I hear you on the blues. This time of year is so depressing when there's so little daylight. I just bought a little stepper machine to help me through the Winter this year since I don't move out too much. Too icy and snowy to get out walking and I don't have a gym membership or even a car to get me to a gym if I did belong…

Ouch! I am lucky to not have an OW moment in a few years but I have weak rotator cuffs and if I move or sleep the wrong way a shoulder will pop out. Hurts for a week or two afterward. I hope your ear feels better soon!

Welcome! It's great to see more fellow Canadians here :) I lived in Edmonton last year and it wasn't the place for me. I'm a small town East Coast girl .. LOL

Shame on them for gossiping like that. Some people aren't happy unless they are bringing other people down in some way.

I have nothing to add for advice. I struggle with my willpower as well .. unfortunately. Just wanted you to know you aren't the only one out there whose willpower lets you down.

Good luck .. you CAN do it!!

Welcome and congrats on your weight loss thus far. I'd love to run too but I don't have the stamina for it just yet. I've tried and managed to go 1/4 mile without falling down, lol

Thank you all again. I'm glad most of you can relate to some of it .. I see it's a common thread among the healthy eating World. I'm not alone .. .yay!! I did have 2 great calorie burning workouts today and I got the housework done (more calories gone but I don't count those). I am feeling awesome and that's more important…

Congratulations on realizing and admitting that you have to make a change. That's the first step to having a new lifestyle. You can do it!!

Morning and afternoon usually. Between 30-40 minutes each time. I'd like to do more but when you have a 4 year old demanding your attention and household chores to accomplish throughout the day, you take the opportunity for a workout when you can fit it in :)

Weigh in weekly and not daily. Day to day weight will fluctuate so you get a better idea w hen you only step on that scale once a week. Preferably first thing in the morning. I have a very hard time eating my daily allotted calories and I am always under them at the end of the day.

I just bought some the other day. The apple flavour and it's delicious. Love it!
-
oooooh yeah, we used to live there last year. I don't envy those -30 (and colder) temperatures at all. Stay warm!

oh I know all too well the adage about the horse to water .. he's a MULE so I suppose the same applies, LOL I will continue to burn those calories and let him sit back and watch until he comes to the realization that life would be more fulfilling if he were more a part of it :)
