count calories and its not a bad idea to watch "bad carbs" like pastries, white bread..etc.

I agree with above..try increasing your intake..your body is probably holding on to some calories

I've done low carb..but eating the "right carbs" works for me! no white stuff in my diet now! good luck on your journey!

I usually turn on my favorite song..and I make sure its at least 4-5 mins long. In fact, my "workout " playlist is composed of songs that are at least 4 1/2 minutes long! This keeps me occupied. A while ago I used phentermine..it really helped to suppress my appetite..its given by RX only. The thing is ..once you off of it..you go back to your old habits..best to exercise self control and discipline. Since joining MFP ive been doing the diet and exercise thing and lost the weight..you can do it too!

I think they should..like any other strength exercise..ab work is used to strength muscle..i would advise the individual NOT to expect six pack abs on top of fat..you need cardio and fat burning exercises to actually see the results of the ab work!

Its a great program to increase your cardio endurance and lose inches..i have lost 5 lbs in 4 weeks..but alot of inches! My endurance is better..and i havent followed the diet all the way..i'm still eating the way i have since I started MFP. Its summer and I dont want to deprive myself of carbs! Good luck!

Lol..well i asked not for me..i have a bestie that is having a hard time finding a match..the guys that approach her are all younger..she's 34 --the last guy she went out with is 26..she wants someone her age but they havent showed interest where she llves :(
