I hate when people who are overweight act as if there's "nothing wrong'. For instance..a friend of mine was trying to find a dress..she only can shop @ Ashley stewart or Lane Bryant...when we couldnt find anything..she blamed the stores! Her comment was " Why they don't make enough 2 x shirts for everyone"....really?

I went down a cup size

I was losing a half lb weekly for 2 weeks until I started tricking my body--Zig zagging calories works!
-
Before...I didnt know anything about "metabolic trickery"...i just stopped eating junk and started exercising.. NOW i'm doing the exact same thing without the results..so i had to figure out what I was doing wrong...I switched to calorie cycling and reduced carb intake..now im making progress! True--aging = wisdom
-
Good for you! I found that cycling my calories help me prevent a stall!
-
@ 29 i decided to lose the 40 lbs I'd gained between age 25-29..so I went on a weight loss program and lost instantly. Made the same decision in January and slowing losing :( I'm not giving up..just wish i could push the accelerator button right now! @ Tag--you are right...I will do it right this time so I NEVER have to go…
-
Same here!! I had a few "shots" on my 30th and I was bloated and retaining water the very next day! lol
-
I understand your frustration but don't try the phentermine just yet...try MFP it works..its just that our metabolism slows as we age! Since your husband is fit maybe he can workout with you.
-
wow your transformation is amazing!
-
@ Sincity--it's definitely slower and more frustrating for sure!
-
I hear you! it's blood --sweat-and tears now that I reached my 30's :ohwell: No overnight miracles
-
Shay--I realized last month I could no longer eat 3 OREOS on the days I didnt work out and not expect to see the results on the scale! I had to make major adjustments! Damn I miss my oreos :(
-
LoL!!!!! I'll keep chewing then
-
@ Ka97--I changed my exercise pattern, I added more cardio and joined the gym..started seeing the numbers fall..now they are slowing up again :( @ Jbakerah--I'm crawling too..but still moving--thats the key to success
-
A tattoo and a new bike!!
-
Shay---I'm totally with you...I'm busting my "you know whats" every day almost either at the gym..or at home and the weight is sticking to me like glue..the scale eventually moves but BOY do I pay the price 1st!
-
Wow you are kicking *kitten*! Congrats on your slow so far! I agree--some things do get better with age--I'm learning how to adjust to the slower metabolism...refuse to try any supplements
-
I obsess over Ranch dressing..thank you!

You may need to increase your calories! Also snacking on zero calorie foods since as pickles , sugar free jello helps me out alot!
-
