Awesome! What a great way to reward yourself! I love the leg shot!

Yes, yes, and yes again!

Love it! If you can rock it, you should! The new Batman movie - Dark Knight Rises - comes out next week. All my co-workers (I work at a movie theatre) are dressing up for the premier weekend. I would totally wear that!

Friends with Benefits ... except it did not end as happily as it did in that movie!

That's a tough one. I'm in no way an expert, but I agree you can't ignore it. I was watching Dr. Oz one day and something he said really stuck with me. He said you can't tell a smoker to stop smoking. It won't work. Smoker's already know that smoking is bad for them. So the fact they feel they can't stop makes them feel…

That's awesome! I had some friends take part in the Spartan race this week and I saw all the pictures. It's definitely something I want to work up to someday! Keep it going! :)

I always just hit readjust it and it does it automatically, but so far (even after losing 30 pounds), it still stayed at 1200 calories. I just change it and if you don't like it, change it back. No big deal :)

I have a pretty big scar on my face, on my lower right cheek, from when I was two years old. I was run over by a golf cart and a large hanging piece of metal sliced through my face, through basically all but one layer. Knocked out my front tooth and gave me a decent scar on my forearm at the same time. At the time (20…

I love love love love love that dress! You look amazing! :)

That's so awesome!!! Such a good feeling! I am doing a 5K Walk for Arthritis next month and hopefully we can raise some money to get even more people like you able to reach these kinds of goals! Keep it up! :)

Personally, I stick to 1200 net - meaning I eat most of my exercise calories back. If I don't exercise, I usually only eat 1200 (obviously it doesn't always work but I try). But I don't always eat all of my calories, simply because I'm not hungry - especially if it's a big calorie burn day. I try not to eat for the sake of…

Those are some really good points for saving money and I would like to add a couple tips of my own that are slightly different. Okay, so I know it sounds contradictory, but be careful about shopping at big box stores like Walmart (I don't know what else you have in the States), especially when buying produce. I have found…

You only lost two inches in two weeks? Oh darn, so terrible! *insert eye roll here* It takes most of us here a lot longer than that! You may not want to hear this but I think you are trying too hard. It's so great that you are so aware of what you are putting into your body, but you seem to be all over the place and your…

I don't have a HRM, so I just log it as "Circuit training" from the database, which is what I have heard most people on here do without a HRM. It says I burn just over 200 calories. I am currently 175. Personally, I think that 112 is low. You would almost burn that much going for a brisk walk for 20 minutes, do you think…

Yea, I get that too. It's just the nature of the thing. Just pick the one that you use most often and use that one for your weigh ins. It shouldn't be so much about getting the lowest number possible. It should be about consistency and not lying to yourself about what's happening with your body. Good luck! :)

Congrats! That's incredible! :)

Don't just look at where you are missing out on calories but look at the other stats too and see what you're low on - protein, carbs, sugars etc. Try to get those things up and the calories will come naturally. If all else fails, just add some cheese to it! lol If I am low on calories for a day, I just add a slice or two…

My treadmill (or the one at gym) says I burn about 360 calories for a 35 minute run at 5mph. I'm 22 and 181 pounds. I don't use a HRM so I can't compare that, but your treadmill count seems a little low - probably because you can't input your age and weight. I would go with your HRM. See if it comes up with the same count…

That's so dumb! You would think someone you are related to could at least try to ask you nicely to be quiet first! But then again, my little brother never asked nicely about anything! haha

Yup, MFP has one! It says Circuit Training (Curves circuit) or something like that :)

So what happened?

My friend once complained to me that he had to look at the overweight runners everyday on the running path near his apartment (yes, he can be a bit shallow sometimes). I look at him with a dead face and told him I would rather see more of them running past my apartment everyday and then maybe there would be less of them in…

That's so great! I really hope you'll continue to see yourself that way and be so proud of the progress you've made! :)

Incroyable!!! :)

Just tried these! Sooo yummy! I agree that I didn't get the 3 dozen out of the recipe, so they were more calories per cookie, but definitely a nice treat!

I (in my not a fitness specialist opinion lol) would say that it is definitely good! .... as long as it is part of a complete diet plan. Core strength is really importany, but if crunches are your only form of exercise, then it's not going to be very effective. As long as you are eating right, and burning calories and fat,…

That's amazing! You look awesome. Definitely looking younger too! ;) I hope I look that good when I'm brave enough to take pictures!

hey lady! I am in the same boat. This weekend proved to me why I don't go out! lol I went out two nights in a row, and was toast for the next days and totally failed at working out! My suggestion would be to find things to do that don't leave you too tired the next day. Movies are great (share the popcorn or bring in your…

Been there, done that. It sucks. I suggest calling a house meeting. Post-it notes are not fun for anyone to come across. You need to address them in person, let them know you are serious. Even if they don't cop to it, maybe they'll at least stop doing it. Otherwise, get a black sharpie and starting writing your name on…
