Hey! I'm about 5'2" weighing in at 168 lbs. I once weight 190 lbs and lost 55 lbs and then gained nearly 40 of it back. I'm determined again this time around. I log every day and I'm honest with what I eat/drink. Right now, I try to net around 1350 cals in order to lose 1lb per week. My goal is to get back to 135. I'm on…

I used to love Cinnamon Toast Crunch(not these days because a box costs about $10 in Korea), but I used to do 3/4 cup bran flakes and 1/4 cup cinnamon toast crunch 1/4tsp of cinnamon and 1/4tsp of splenda, and a half a cup of skim milk. it's a lot of work for a bowl of cereal, but cutting unhealthy cereals with something a…

If 1500 seems like a lot try to incorporate some high (good) fat foods- olive oil, avocados, nuts, etc...2 tbs of peanut butter has 200 calories. How have you been doing this week following your trainer's 1500-1600 meal guidelines? Are you finding it easier than expected?

Definitely have them fit you. I personally swear by the Nike Vomeros for distance running and the Nike Pegasus as an everyday shoe, but I only chose both of these after a fitting.

oops yes April 2014...sounds so far away! how much longer will you be in korea? i find it difficult to lose/maintain here, because i'm constantly tempted and the fact that it's considered rude to refuse staff dinners means i'm often eating bbq and soju past 10 pm which is always good, but I'm to the point now (it only took…

I'm also living in Korea. I've found that jiggaes (stews) are really healthy when the 2 cups of rice that they come with are omitted...rice has been my downfall here! you can probably get a lot of stuff on base, but http://www.iherb.com/ is great for stocking the pantry with healthy snacks.

I've been in Korea for 2 1/2 years and I'll be here until April 2013. I'm living in Chuncheon. I've put on a lot of weight since I got here, but I'm looking forward to getting back into shape before I go home! I joined MFP awhile ago, but just started to actually use it.
