  • Woke up and did speed 1.0 before breakfast. Will do abs later. Healthy protein shake now! 1-08/18-145 lbs. it's TOM and that's artificially inflated. I think I'm really in the 141 range right now. 2-08/19 3-08/20 4-08/21 5-08/22 6-08/23 7-08/24 8-08/25 9-08/26 10-08/27 11-08/28 12-08-29 13-08/30 14-08/31 15-09/01 16-09/02…
  • Hi! Popping in to say I am loving T25, I am done with week four of ten, and down to 141.0 lbs! I am coming back for another 17, quietly...I only have 6 lbs to LTG and I want to take another run at it. Even just to get myself solidly into the 130s 1-08/18 2-08/19 3-08/20 4-08/21 5-08/22 6-08/23 7-08/24 8-08/25 9-08/26…
  • You are doing fabulous keep going!
  • I know I should get mine measured, I feel like it's been changing....
  • No Pics yet but I started 7/20 and am down 4 lbs and tons of inches :flowerforyou:
  • Happy Anniversary! That is so fabulous, you SHOULD celebrate hanging on to your success and committing to the lifestyle. You look much younger that you say you are, by the way :-) ETA: Now that I am approaching maintenance, I am really realizing how important this:…
  • It totally is, those last few pounds are brutal. No advice, just commiseration :drinker:
  • Keep measuring! I am losing little weight, but my measurements are going down faster than I though possible....it is getting to the point where I kinda don'r care about the scale (ok I still do lol)
  • I love speed too! It's that song they play....

  • Thanks for the insight! Yes traditional yoga is what I am after, I want the mind/body effect and the meditation that goes along with it.
  • angie, I didn't lose for the first two weeks, then I started following the nutrition guide religiousy, and lost two pounds last week (1400 cals). SO if by Beta you haven't lost, give it some thought maybe? Don't give up! P.S. did anyone just about die during the friday doubles? I was in Insanity dizzy/puke territory, I had…

  • No lol not "yoga confusion" or anything. it's just a nickname the program got because it has multiple disks with different emphases, and comes with a 3-month calendar of how to go through them. Here: http://www.theultimateyogi.com/ I like the idea of buying a set of mutiple discs because it gives me lots of options…
  • Nah I have done tons of yoga, just not consistently. I can't make it to outside classes right now due to my schedule, plus I prefer DVDs in the privacy of my own home. The appeal of the program/calendar setup is that it would get me in a habit. Ideally I would have the time and money to go to a studio daily, of course.
  • This is so fabulous and so true! When we went away to the cabin this summer I spent the first 2 days in full "vacation mode"...until I realized how disgusting I felt! And the beach was full of women in bikinis with cellulite and muffin tops and baby bellies just like me! Although some fitness people showed up... And yah…
  • Hang in there! My weight was up two pounds last week then I dropped it overnight. Congrats on hitting that goal!
  • I just want you to know you are not alone!!! Look at my ticker. 7 freaking pounds I have been fighting with for years! I know muscle is smaller than fat, blah blah blah but dammit those 7 lbs need to go or I will never feel like I met my goal. So struggling is a good description. Not sure what to tell you except at this…
  • Yah that's awesome! I always make sure to mention to people if I notice they are losing, I know how much that means to hear that from someone.
  • Wow I am so impressed! That is a fantastic change, and such an important thing you have done for yourself and your health. Good stuff!
  • I just totally relate to this!!!! In general I don't discuss unless asked, most of my friends are not in the same mental place as me so I know they are not ready to hear about it. People seem to get really offended when i say i need a tummy tuck (until i haul out the loose skin i have from my pregnancies, that shuts them…
  • I love/hate flat back uttanasana? Because my hamstrings are so tight. I need to do that for about 3 days straight lol. I adore pigeon, hated when I first tried it but it stretches my hips out in a way nothing else does.
  • Some people need to log forever, some don't. I think it's healthy not too, but for me I gain weight back when I stop, I'm a natural overeater I guess lol. The advantage to not logging is that you listen to your body more I think. Give yourself a logging break but don't stop weighing....if you slide up five pounds, assess…
  • It all depends on what works for you??? Try something and see if it works for your schedule.
  • This might help hang in there. I lost nothing my first month of insanity so I gave up. Now I'm wishing I hadn't because apparently the big weight loss on these programs sometimes happens in the second month. http://chalenejohnson.blogspot.ca/2009/01/why-do-you-sometimes-gain-weight-when.html?m=1
  • Insanity is similar in intensity but the workouts range from 40-60 minutes. I found each DVD had almost the same exercises, I couldn't tell much difference between them. T25 had a lot more variety each day. But you burn more calories with a longer workout. I also find Shaun's demeanor in T25 is a little less drill sergeant…
  • Ok so I peeked! 142 lbs! So at the end of T25 week 3 I am down two lbs. I am happy with that, only 7 to go to my ultimate goal, and it was quality fat loss for sure. And I survived tempeh week! Pre making lunches and dinners for the week from the nutrition guide was key. And I think morning fasted cardio did its job.…
  • I am close to goal weight 5'6" and 143. The weight is not coming off fast at this point, I am sticking to 1300-1400 calories (not eating back exercise) I just couldn't hack 1200. Eating super clean from the nutrition guide this week, still hasn't made the scale budge. It's weird I have only lost 1 lb in three weeks, two…
  • I absolutely love it. Beginning week three and already lost 2 lbs, 2 inches off waist, 1 inch off hips. You really have to watch your food because the calorie burns aren't as high as insanity. But I found insanity really repetitive, with T25 every DVD is truly different, and you sweat like a maniac!
  • Jillian Michaels Body Revolution is awesome, and it eases you up in fitness over 12 weeks.
  • I have this on my abs, I know what you are talking about, it is "old" fat I have had for awhile. Super-stubborn. I just started fasted morning cardio this week to see if that helps, having good luck with it so far, the stuff seems to be shrinking! (fingers crossed) You may want to read this, it might encourage you to…
  • Just popping in with the T25 perspective. While it is different than insanity, I think the body results would be similar, i.e. mostly body-weight exercises and intense cardio. If you are interested in weights, go for the beast! I am loving T25 and would recommend it for fat loss though.
