So, after several days of this, I'm getting that there are not many empirical controled studies for a Paleo vs. Any Other diet. Am I correct?

Yup. I keep a running total (either "POSITIVE" or "NEGATIVE") in the notes section of the daily tracker. I like it. I think its a holdover habit of being an ex-Weight Watcher and having "activity points" rolling over day to day. It helps me feel like I'm not punishing myself the day after I work out because I'm hungrier…

I couldn't agree more. The more I see how chemically formulated processed foods are to spike pleasure neurotransmitters just to have the glucose drop from our blood mere minutes after consumption, the more I hate all food industrialization. How obvious is it that we can't trust corporations with our bodies?

I think calorie-wise you are doing great! Are you eating your exercise calories back? It's sort of a hot topic here on MFP wether or not you should, but you may want to so that you don't become lethargic from not enough calories. Net, that way you can see how exersize plays a role. Also, you will have to eat more when you exersize a lot more, and there's no need to freak out about it if you look at net. Just set your MFP tracker to what you want to lose and exercise will be accounted for.
