I go straight for the weights and go ahead with some cardio after. Trainer at my gym said that if I wanted to do cardio it was best to do it after weights because my body has already started to burn off the carbs and will actually be ready to burn fat . . . something like that. Yes - New Rules is a book. Lays out the entire process, workouts, the moves, timeframes, diet . . . pretty much covers EVERYTHING! I really like it because I am lifting-challenged. I had no clue where to begin. This book is a big help.

Bump - I'm trying to lower mine as well. Won't know if my efforts have been successful until my next physical in July. It was never an issue before, so I'm sure mine is diet/weight related.
