  • Well done on the loss so far  It can be hard when people don't take it as serious as you do, I find some folks don't realize that its such a big deal to you, and I often have to deal with people trying to feed me cakes and sweets, especially in the office. Look it as part of the challenge and give yourself a pat on…

  • Yeah I sometimes feel a bit guilty, but I do try and plan ahead a bit and work out a bit more if I know I will be going out for drinks, plus I think its good that if you are doing it as a lifestyle change that you can have a few treats now and again.
  • Hey, playing devils advocate a wee bit but maybe your Husband is afraid you will lose weight and become more attractive to others, maybe hes a wee bit insecure, you should sit him down when you are calm and have it out with him, you lose weight and get fit for yourself and no one else. An as for your daughter, its hard…
  • Yeah I tend to drink more by the bottle, but I try and do more of a workout if I know I am going to be having a couple of glasses. Only thing is I need to watch as I do tend to want to munch on snacks with my wine
  • Can you get an induction at the gym? I was a bit apprehensive about joining a gym, but when I joined our local one at the start of the year I got the induction which showed me how to use all the machines, and the instructor also gave me a programme to work on so I felt as if I knew where to start, now I love it.

  • I met my OH when I was 16 and he was 25, we didn't start dating till a few years later, I was 19 he was 28, everybody told me he was far too old, but we just clicked from the start, been together now 14 years, and getting married in December (didn't ant to rush into anything  ) Follow your instincts though, if you…
  • I tend to drink about 2 litres a day, more in the hot weather not that we get so much of that or if I am doing a lot of running, but I do also drink a lot of herbal tea 4-6 cups a day. Some days I find okay but other days I do run to the bathroom a lot, not sure why.

  • I was the same, started running last January and couldn't run for longer than a minute at a time, by May I managed to run 5.5 miles in a charity run.
