You just started last month and are 25% towards your goal? Why would you be discouraged? You need to do more than 4 miles per week, that's 1 hour of exercise a week, you should be doing at least 3.5 hrs. Per week. You could also benefit from getting some friends for advice and motivation.

You can always go to "weigh-in" on the My Home tab and choose "edit previous entries" and punch in your start date and your original weight on that date and it will add the additional loss to your ticker. Good luck.

Short answer, yes, you can lose weight, but in the long run you can't be healthy. It's okay to put a couple of garbage calories in your 1200, like two 80-100 cal snacks, especially if you exercise alot, but remember that those 1000 cals left after your snack now need to be pretty nutritious to fuel your body.

I'm not a nutritionist, but it Looks to me like your meals are too large. You should reduce the size of each meal but add in 3 snacks each Day. I'vebeen using them for a month. They are supposed to fill you up, they're a great source of fiber and protein. They are also supposed to lower BP. They leveled out my weight loss and made it less jerky. I eat a tbsp in the morning smoothie and another tbsp in my v8 juice in the afternoon.
