I have been on my lifestyle journey for 16 months. I'm down 80 so far and I'm going to keep going. Current goal is to lose 20 lbs by July. This is a great site and there is lots of support. My biggest hurtle was changing my mindset to getting a healthy lifestyle, NOT dieting. Add me if you like. Good luck on your journey,…

Have to agree with runningfatawa. Great job, keep it up as you have been very successful. Just nod your head when someone gives advise and then move on. You are doing the right thing for you!

inner ear problem will not cause nose bleed. Their are clinics that see people on a fee per income basis, so make some calls and get checked

Yes you can lose weight without exercise. It takes longer and if you want your body to tone up you have to exercise. You don't have to go crazy. Take the stairs, walk around the block, walk the mall. It took me 6-8 months before I actually started exercising and liking it, but I like the way my body is responding to it.…

Not quite at the 100lbs yet but closer than I ever thought I would be. It feels great. Confidence level is sky high. I'm doing things that I have not done before as I was too big and self conscious. I like looking in the mirror now and seeing me, whole not just the head up. I had developed a skill of walking past a full…

why didn't you just say no, and eat the food you brought. No debate or argument. Sanity restored.

open your diary and you might get a better response. If you have increased your fruits and veggies and cut out salt, that would cause increased diuresis.

you have earned your time off. Your being selfish if you go to work while having a contagious illness. Stop feeling guilty and focus on getting well and getting back to work.

don't look at it as losing 100 lbs. Break it into smaller goals. Change your banner to reflect your successes. Take it one day at a time knowing that you are on a journey to health. Take it from me I have dieted for years and had fleeting success. I changed my frame of reference and have been successful. When I started I…

ask about having a free trial and go and get a feel for the gym, most of them will offer a few free days. As most people have said, no one will be watching. I too put off going but once I faced the fear and got it into my head that this was going to be the only way I could get healthy. Can't say I "love" the gym, but I do…

My tip is know that this is a journey you will be on for the rest of your life. You will have good days and bad days. You will only be a failure if you quit or decide to stop. The scale will never be your friend, frequently it will lie to you. Find other ways to measure your successes (clothes fit better, you can climb…

I love these. Have tried all the chocolate variety. Don't care for the other flavors. Haven't tried the breakfast muffin or the new pizzas they have come out with.

unless you are walking around the block or the treadmill while you are crocheting I would say to few to count. It does keep your hands and mind occupied so I'm not snacking.
