  • Well this was quite the experience. We headed out on the river and, being a novice kayaker, it was overwhelming at the beginning. We hit shallow water and rocks immediately which took every ounce of muscle I had to get out of it. I was so upset! I almost just pulled my kayak out and quit. The group I was with kept me going…
  • I like the looks of this workout, Mary. I get discouraged when they take up more than 30 minutes so this one is perfect. I think I'll start it on Monday, the 13th. I like your idea of posting my progress as I go. That should help keep me on track!

I would love to be part of this group to help keep me on track and cheer each other on. I have been married for 40 years this September…

I don't eat back my calories expended during exercise, however. Yes, it does give you more calories when you are more active than your base activity…
  • Don't assume fibromyalgia yet. How long has it been since you worked out this intensely? If it has been a long time then expect aches and pains for quite some time. To be sure that everything is fine and arthritis isn't part of the issue, check with your doctor. Real cases of fibromyalgia certainly do exist but far too…
  • Oh good heavens! What a pompous statement. After 2112 years you honestly believe that Christianity is going to die out in a hundred years! Get real. Fine if you want to believe whatever floats your boat spiritually but do not pretend to know about the destiny of Christianity!
