Thanks for all the tips. My burnt calories are according the the machines in the gym after entering my height and weight, so I thought it should be pretty accurate. I think for now, I'll just have a larger lunch, and snacks in the morning and afternoon.

I don't go to the gym and I've lost 40 odd lbs since July 10. I do walk a lot more though, try and make sure I hit about 10k steps a day.

Well done! I have noticed I have lost nearly half a stone since the beginning of the year also. Lost nearly 50 lb now. The the last 7lb have flown off. Can't really explain it, nothing has changed.

Excellent, many thanks for your advise. I think I will stick with Vodka, and diet something.. I really don't like Malibu.

I have never heard of Vanilla Vodka... Cools Light seems to be the best for larger / beer which is around 140 per bottle, however I don't think a lot of places sell that.

Fosters has around 200 per pint.

Back in my bad days when I didn't care, I would have gone through 8 to 10 pints of beer over the 6 or so hours..
