  • I completed this workout really late (7 pm). I spent most of the day taking down the Christmas stuff and putting it away in the attic. Like you, RS3khon, I'm not nearly as sore and am glad I pushed through the soreness. I agree that the running man is a really awkward move. Tomorrow is my 53rd birthday so I will enjoy my…
  • Today I wasn't nearly as sore as the last two days so the workout wasn't painful. I made sure to do additional stretching afterwards to keep the soreness from getting so bad. Food has been okay most days except Wednesday.
  • Goodness, I'm so incredibly sore! I am having to force to do these workouts. Once I get started, it's okay. It's only after I completely cool down that the soreness returns. I did a 20 minute stretch video in the hopes that it helps. I also took some pain meds. Jillian is really kicking my butt. I do find that I can do the…
  • I was really not wanting to do this workout since I can barely move. But, I have committed to this program and sucked it up and did it. Funny, the soreness wasn't so bad while doing it, but boy was it back when it ended. I really HATE yoga, but decided to do a simple, basic stretch video I found on youtube. Hoping I can…
  • My goal is to complete the three month program and reach my goal weight this year. I don't think I will reach it during this program, but it will get me closer.

  • I did workout 1 and 2 today to get on track. I have OCD and it would bother me to be off a day otherwise. So far, the workouts are familiar moves and not too difficult. I will try to do the more advanced moves next week. My exercise has been almost nonexistent since October. Jillian has never failed in getting me results.…
  • I had lunch with a friend a few weeks ago. I excused myself to go to the ladies room. As I got up, she asked me if I was going to throw up. I responded that my weight loss was due to portion control and exercise.
  • You are beautiful!! Few of us here on MFP will have that "perfect" body, but we are all healthier and better than we were. I am still not comfortable putting on a swimsuit , but I don't hide from the cameras anymore. Actually, I pose and smile when there is a camera pointed my way! Be proud of YOUR body!!
  • I just made some and they are tasty! I didn't add as much stevia and they are sweet. I will adjust this amount down to make them less sweet. I input the recipe and based on my brand of ingredients, the calories were 47. Awesome recipe! Thanks for sharing.
  • I was diagnosed with OCD in November 2012. I always knew I had OCD tendencies, but when the stress of being in control got to me, it put me in the hospital overnight. My blood pressure was so high that the school nurse thought I was on the verge of a heart attack or stroke. All tests came back normal for the big things.…
  • Yoga makes me angry! I understand that this is good for my body, but I just can't stand how slow it moves. I have tried pilates and like it much better.

  • Isn't shopping more fun now? I know I don't get angry, sad, or frustrated anymore. I leave without buying because either it was too expensive or not cute. Feels amazing to do that! My two NSVs were: RUNNING on the treadmill (which I hate) without holding on and wrapping a regular sized bath towel around my body and not…

  • Great progress! I love running, too. At 52, my doctor told me that I couldn't finish my training for my half marathon. My shin splints were so bad, that he feared I would break a bone if I continued. I shifted from running to other exercise and recently started lifting weights. I may start the half marathon training again,…

  • I had a few: 1. I wore white pants for the first time in 20 years. White is unforgiving so I avoided it for years. 2. I wore sandals to work. Fat exposed feet are not attractive! 3. I visited a gym to inquire about a membership. I am ready to start lifting and I don't have any equipment (other than dumbbells and resistance…
  • I completed this challenge in March. My personal best was 4:01 on the last day. I finished the last 59 seconds after a brief rest. This is a very doable challenge. I am now doing the wall sit challenge.
  • I agree. I have gone from recording my weight weekly to monthly. This month, my weight stayed exactly the same, but my measurements showed a difference. In all, I have lost 3 inches overall--mainly arms, calves, chest, and hips. I'll take it! The scale still causes me some anxiety when it doesn't move down, but i can see…
  • I actually had two NSVs this week. First, I bought a new, school spirit shirt in small. It fit!! The second one was exercise related. I did a HITT workout TWICE in the same day. When I started this journey last year, I couldn't do any of Jillian's workouts without modifications.

  • Get fitted for proper running shoes...best money I ever spent! Also, once I started running with my new shoes, I noticed my toes hurt after running. I looked up possible solutions, and found that there were different ways to lace your shoes for certain problems…
  • Why, yes I did. I ran a 4 miler at the army post this morning. It was slow but I ran the entire thing. Quite an accomplishment for me.
  • I absolutely am better! I have dropped 40 pounds, have exercised regularly, and got up early to run a 4 miler at the army post. I would never have done that last year. I love the new and much improved me! I still have 20 pounds to go, but I will get there.
  • My 2014 goals are: 1. To make it to my goal weight (only have 22 pounds to go) and then reevaulate that number up or down depending on what I look like. My doctor has told me that my goal is not unrealistic or unhealthy. I want to look fit not just skinny. 2. To run my first half marathon in March. I just want to finish…
  • I'll be 52 in January and I started my journey in January 2012 as part of a biggest loser contest. I didn't win the contest...I won my life back! I will always count calories, I think and exercise is no longer my nemesis. Yesterday, I set my newest goal...training for a half marathon in March! I love MFP!
  • I love going shopping and not buying something because I can, nit because it didn't fit. I love that I'm off my blood pressure meds and my "happy" pill. I love that I look forward to running 5ks on holidays. I love that I can play with my 2 year old granddaughter on the playground. But most of all, I LOVE me! I no longer…
  • I love the c25k app! I'm on my last week (second go around) and I can finish 3 miles in 38-40 minutes now. When I started back in February, I never thought I'd get under 45 minutes. I do find I run better outside. The treadmill bores me too much.
  • You look wonderful. You are my weight but I don't look nearly as good yet. I'm only 5'4". Great work!
  • I don't have pictures yet and I have had to stop shredding for 7 days, but I see results even after just 19 days. I will get back to it next week and will most definitely modifiy the jumping exercises since they did a number on my poor old knees. I guess she is boring but since I very OCD so it doesn't bother me.
  • Add me please! I was doing so well while school was in session, but summer vacation is making me lose focus on my journey.
