a. W4D3 completed! b. The run was ok again, not so tired and not as bored - I think what helped was a change in music and just a lot of thinking to keep my mind busy! However, on the last few seconds of the last run, I got a stitch. This is the first time it's happened! It was painful and I'm so glad I was stopping…

a. W4D2 done - 6/10/11 b. The run was ok again, I was bored near the 3rd run and wanted to stop - not out of being tired though, but just being bored. :embarassed:

I don't focus on speed. I have no way to see how fast I am going apart from self-judgement. But the podcast is always saying: "go slow, don't exhaust yourself, if you go too fast you'll be tired and won't be able to complete, pace yourself". So I guess if I go at a pace that means I am going as fast as I can possibly walk,…

a. W4D1 done - 3/10/11 b. Not as tired as I thought I'd be afterwards, the run was ok!

a. W3D3 done - 30/9/11 b. I like that these runs are going quicker now. But I was so hot! I really had to push myself through the heat.

I forgot to update. a. W3D2 completed 28/9/11. b. I was tired and it was so hot, hoping to go running tomorrow at 8-9am. England is having some kind of heatwave at the moment!

a. W3D1 done 26/9/11 b. It was ok - not as difficult as I was expected. On the last minute of the last 3 minute run I felt like stopping, but persevered. It went so quickly this work out!
-
Yay! Going running tomorrow. :)
-
a. W2D3 done - 24/9/11 b. It was tiring but easier than the other runs this week. I had to fight to get out of bed though, I was meant to go running at 10am but didn't go until 12pm

I'm veggie too and I also hate it when you just get a vegetable (and it's always aubergine!) as a veggie meal. That's not a dinner!

When you go through their bins or when you get a tattoo of them on your back.

Well done Felicia on completing week 2! You should definitely take a break if you can, the podcast recommends days off in between! And you do have 2 other days to do a bonus run!

That's the BT tower. It counts down the days to the Olympics and on special occasions it flashes colours at night. The other day it sent a blue beam of light straight into the sky, all night long from 8pm, to look like a lightsabre because of the Star Wars DVD. A man in a C-3PO costume turned the light on.

I made a blog post about where I go running outside: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/pandabear_/view/where-i-go-running-pictures-150514 I guess for me, I have no choice but to run outside because I can't afford a treadmill or gym membership. I think it can be really fun though, you're outdoors, you have the fresh air and…

a. W2D2 completed 22/9/11 b. Tiring again. There were lots of hills and walking up and down them tired me out before the run!
-
Blood pudding, yuck! My favourite is afternoon tea: scones with cream and jam and a cup of tea.

No rain for two weeks! That's something like a record for Britain. Where in Britain did you go to?
-
The NHS choices one from itunes.

a. W2D1 done - 20/9/11 b. It was tiring but I got through it. The first song on the podcast was funny, I was trying not to laugh when I first recognised it. Like others have said, the reason I pushed myself and continued is because of this group motivating me to complete it!

I spread it on seeded/wholemeal bread, add rocket, avocado, falafel, tomato and make a sandwich.
-
I'm doing 30 ds at the same time also! My running day is tomorrow because today is my rest day. Good luck everyone who starts week 2 today!
-
Maybe you just needed a rest day instead of running again!
-
I woke up very early this morning and checked the weather. It's heavy rain/thunder storms from 4pm apparently, so I went running in the cold wind and dull clouds at 10am this morning just to avoid thunder! a. W1D3 completed - 18/9/11 b. The run was much better than day 2. I didn't feel the need to push myself as much, I…

Well done Felicia on finishing week 1! And well down on that quarter mile lap, your husband sounds like a great motivator!
-
Has anyone tried running in the rain yet? I think I might have to tomorrow or I won't be able to finish the week! :grumble:
-
Blueberries!

I'm 5'6 and been a size 12 forever it seems! I'm a size 12 between 150-140 lbs.

I wouldn't eat breakfast either. I just couldn't eat that early and not feel sick when I was younger. I guess if they get hungry, they will want food. So give them a snack to take on the way to school, maybe?
