  • You can really make anything with an Asian flare if you include these ingredients: spring onion ginger garlic 5 spice powder. Almost every single dish in Chinese restaurants have the top three and just add soy sauce, dash of sugar, etc. If you are using beef or pork, I would season it with 5 spice powder, just dry rub it…
  • I heard a rumor that there is a Taco Bell in the UK..in Essex! I miss Taco Bell but I am not driving to Essex to get it!
  • Bread...it's a good thing I don't live in Paris but I have to go into every single boulangerie...
  • Thanks for replying! No one replied!! I had better result with Shred, however, I was a lot more diligent with my diet when I did the Shred as well. So far I've lost only 3lbs doing the Slimdown but my shoulders, back and biceps are becoming quite defined...I haven't been as good with my diet as I was last month so that…
  • can't see the pic...?
  • Same here, I am definitely an emotional eater...for many years. I've been on MFP for just short of 2 months and I've definitely had my bad days. The others are right, it is all in your control. We think it's not but it really is. I remember the first 'emotional breakdown' since I started MFP and my 'life changing journey',…
  • I didn't lose this week...actually weighed in on Saturday and it showed I stayed the same at 146.6 then today (Monday) it showed I'm 147.8...so I'm going to say I've gained 1.2lb Grr....well, this is another week!
  • I just got home...after my morning rant, I decided to screw Jillian Michaels and the daily 12pm torture, I went out and went window shopping...as it turned out...retail therapy was what I needed! But coming back reading all of these comments are just amazing! You guys actually read my words and cared and you don't even…
  • I did 10 days on each level but if you need more days per level, I don't see why not. L2 was very hard..
  • Loving the spreadsheet! Need to bump this cuz I keep losing it!
  • Ohhhh I love Greek food. Greek salad is fabulous and it's very healthy. Although they do usually use a good dosage of olive oil and salt...so still moderation...but I'd go wit Greek salad, small slice of pita bread with tzatsiki dip which is a cucumber/garlic/greek yogurt dipping sauce. And you'll usually find grill…
  • Yes, great success. It's an amazing workout. I did for 30 days straight and I lost 10.6lbs and inches all over. I didn't take measurement from the beginning, only mid way through but my clothes definitely felt better. I blogged it...I can't find my result blog though...but it's somewhere in there...but it works! Don't…

  • Really silly but years ago when I was in Taiwan, I bought a notebook that had 'Petithamu' on it which are these little hamsters... petithamu by Petithamu, on Flickr Thought they were so cute...took the name ever since...
  • Like all the other posts, I'm a big fan of the Shred. it kick started my exercise routine and she definitely kicks your butt in 27 minutes. The first 5 days I was really tired and lucky if I was able to go for a slow walk for 15 minutes! If you want to incorporate some cardio at home, try her Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism…
  • I lost 10.6lbs at the end of Shred. I did it daily for 30 days straight and counted calories. I also walked 2-3 x a week but not vigorously, just slow 30 minute walk here and there. I blogged daily and here's my result blog. Hope it helps! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/petithamu/view/30-day-shred-result-66089 MissAnjy…

  • I've never been on this but my friend is currently doing this. She said there are these phases you go through and the attack phase was the most difficult. She said she lost 4kg the first week and she ate a lot of cottage cheese...and had to eat a lot of meat...I did read the side effect of eating so much protein (like…

  • My first day on Level 1, about 10 minutes after I finished, I passed out on the couch for 5 hours. I was sore, tired, aching, you name it, I felt it. The next day when I woke up, my butt was so sore, I was doing that 'free falling' thing everytime I tried to sit anywhere. I pushed through and did Day 2 and continues and I…
  • I'd normally check out the menu before I go if i know where I'm going. It makes planning a bit easier so I can 'conserve' my calories on the day i'm suppose to go out and eat. If you don't know where you are going, the best tips I can give you is: Nothing fried, try grilled. Everything with sauce on the side if you can…
  • I'd love to join! My birthday is April 4 so it would be great to celebrate with a healthy weight. My name is Tiffany and I've been on MFP since 29 December when I finally decided to stop lying to myself and start feeling better about myself. I've finished Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred in January and I am currently doing…
  • but what if there is no packaging? I buy my meat and seafood from a local traditional market so they just throw it in the bag and off you go! What should I do??
  • I'm kinda with you on that...not big on yogurt...I quite like savory Greek yogurt dip so with olive oil, garlic, herbs and such... but if it's to sweeten it up, I use honey...helps with the taste...so chopped walnuts and honey, that's how I used to do it..
  • I do work out. It's surprisingly helpful with the cramps...
