This is probably one of the best DVDs I've ever tried. This DVD jump started my weight loss journey. I started at 160lb and I'm quite short so that's a lot for me to carry. First 10 days were horrible...everything hurt....but I continued and the payout is amazing. I've blogged my Shred journey, maybe it'll motivate you?…

I was sore for about 6 days. I cursed at her when she said, 'some of you are on day 5 or 6 and should be finding this easier!' The heck it wasn't! But it got easier on Day 8...haha Keep it up, you'll love the results!

Yep! I started at 159.8 (yikes!) Currently 142 and want to get to 115, I'm only 5'1'...happy to be a support and a friend!

How did you feel after your binged? As a fellow binger...I know what you mean...but after I have a binge session, I feel horrible. Not just mentally but physically I feel horrible. My stomach hurts, my chest hurts, I feel like I've eaten so much I want to throw up. Believe it or not, I focus on that feeling. I ask myself,…

I go through these phases. Like everyone, I was all gun-ho ready to rock when I started and I lost weight. 2nd month was very hard but whenever I wanted to quit, I come on here and I type up a blog or just moan and whine on this...this month is proven to be even more difficult with going back to work thrown in. It is so…

Haha, I keep getting Disney, M&S and Virgin Media?!

Wow...seriously...you guys are like super humans in my eyes!!! Waking up at 4am?! Juggling 1, 2, sometimes 3 kids AND a full time job?!? Seriously put me to shame...I almost feel bad for moaning now!! I know I should just suck it up and make this 'part of my life' but you know when you've been 'lazy' for so long, to…

Wearing jeans. Haven't seen denim on my in almost 2 years..it's a good feeling..

First of all, you're not alone in this, everyone on this goes through phases of ups and lows so hang in there. Secondly, did you start on 2 March like it says below? If so, honey, you've only been at it for 2 weeks!! You can't expect the weight to fall off right away. It didn't take you overnight to gain 20kgs, right? It…

Thanks guys! I was stressing out a bit because I shop often at traditional markets or farmer's markets so it's always hard for me to log my food! I'll just keep 'guestimating' (liking that word, stealing it!) and see how that goes. Thanks again!

Thank you! He has devoted many long hours to this, yes...haha.

I would take the MFP database as well as the machine's calculation with a grain of salt...the best way is to purchase a Heart Rate Monitor. When I first started on MFP, I asked so many people about a HRM and it is the absolute best purchase I have ever made for weight loss. They can be pricy and if you have to use MFP or…

It is difficult when you have a family to cook for and if they're not willing to try new things, it can be a pain. I think first and foremost, you need to speak to your husband and let him know that you want to have a healthier lifestyle and it would be beneficial for the both of you if you start making healthier food at…

That happened to me when I started a new program. I was really discouraged, too but everyone's right. You do gain weight when you start because your body is trying to protect you. You have to push through and you will lose. I lost 5lbs the first week I started on MFP and I gradually lost about 1.5lbs each week but there…

Mine's open =)

Oh, another thing. I don't eat back all of my exercise calories. I probably eat half at best and some days when i work out really hard, I don't always hit my 1200kcal, I'd be lucky if I hit 1000. I don't know if I believe the starvation mode thing, there are too many conflicted theories on this. Anyway, eat when you are…

Hey. I'm 5'2 and I started at 159.8lbs. I did the 30 Day Shred and lost 10.6lbs on that and inches all over. I actually looked like I lost more than that. You do seem to be working out really hard though...so maybe the Shred would be overkill...but you can definitely do some great changes in 6 weeks. I blogged my result…

Agree with Hsinster. I'm Chinese as well and my family owns a restaurant so I know what 'it takes' to make Chinese food taste the way they do in restaurants...even white rice is bad...a bowl of white rice is like 2 scoops of ice cream or something... Mushu pork is the best options. Hsinster, we totally think alike!

Oh this made me laugh on a Monday morning...

Exactly. God know how many times I've cried and wanted to throw the scale out the window when I see the numbers not moving or shifting the wrong direction. You can't give up because it will happen. This is the biggest obstacle and you have to believe what everyone is saying. Don't give up and you will see a difference. =)

When I first started on MFP, I asked the same question about eating clean but not enough calories. It was doing my head in because I was working out hard but I simply couldn't eat enough to meet my 1200 allowance. I snacked on nuts, added full fat mayonnaise, used olive oil, etc. But honestly, I was just really working out…

10.6lbs in total, inches all over, totally transformed my body. x

First I need to say I am no expert and this is just my personal opinion... The key is you have to find what you actually like doing, otherwise going to the gym can be a painful chore. If your gym is well stocked with all sort of cardio machines as well as a swimming pool (lucky!), I'd say try it all out and see what you…

Weighing at 142.8 as of this morning! Woohoo! Slowly going into the 130s... I need to change my goal...I don't think there's any way I can get to 130 by April 1st, can I change to 135?
-
i have taken them in gel form and honestly, it didn't work...I took 2 gels a day for 2 weeks and nothing really happened...I went back to eating more fruit instead...
