You look kinda like Cameron Diaz in your after shots. Way to go! Thanks for the run down of how you did it, too!

You were on there for 30 minutes. That's 30 minutes of cardio.

Great work! You DO look like a whole different person!

You have a lot to lose (the more you have to lose, the faster your body wants to drop it), and if you just started, could easily be water weight.. so, without you giving details on HOW you measured, I'd say it's possible..

I usually run in the morning before work (around 6:20-6:30 am) and then do some kind of Jillian video 4 weekday evenings - usually ends up being around 8:30-9:00 before I get around to it. Weekends are whatever I get in, whenever it happens.

I use portabella mushroom caps as mini pizza crusts. SO good and under 30 cals. With toppings, I can make a pretty good one easily under 200 calories, total.

I'm doing BR right now. This is incredibly motivating to me!! You look GREAT! Thank you for sharing!!

....holy WOW, BATMAN!!!! You look FANTASTIC!

you only have 21 pounds to go according to your ticker.. you couldn't be THAT overweight? Don't be so hard on yourself! That said, do what you need to do. if abstinence is what you feel you need to do for you to feel better and get this under control, put your foot down. Your partner should be supportive.. though, consider…

For what it's worth, I've been feeling similarly for the last few days and I'm nowhere near menopause. I have a Dr. appt soon - gonna run a blood panel.

I LOL'd.

Wow!!! Great work. Thank you for your post. Sorry for your loss.. I can't even imagine.
-
What a change!!! You look great!!
-
Right.. its annoying, but certainly doable and easier than remaking a whole recipe. and more accurate than guessing. ::shrug::

Not true!! You can edit them from a computer - you just can't edit using the app. I just updated one of my recipes! :) Go to the Food tab> Recipies> Click the name of a recipe. You can add and remove ingredients from this screen.

Great work!!! Love the pillow story. Also, you are, and apparently always have been, VERY pretty. Strikingly. Just so ya know. :)

Good job!! Ours ends on Wednesday. Looks like I'm going to win it - from 152 to 128 this morning, on our scale in the office. WAY less money though.. :)
-
Nice!!
-
Way to go, chick! :]
-
AHH! Sorry, was more referring to beer. Should have clarified. :)
-
X 2. Get what you actually crave to satisfy that craving, again, working it into your calories. I'm a sucker for whiskey and tequila too. ;D
-
Exactly. I drink once or twice a week and make sure that, overall, my calories are still where I want them to be with the alcohol calories included on those days.
-
Focus on calories. Many fats are good for you. Think of it this way.. some beers have 200ish calories in each one. Multiply that by 3 or 4 in a night and it's like a whole added meal AND your body isn't processing whatever else you put in it that day as efficiently while the alcohol is in your system.
-
Alcohol slows your metabolism for awhile because of the way your liver processes it. It's also high-carb and, more importantly, high calorie. That said, life is just better with a beer here and there. If you choose to drink, do so in moderation (as with all things! ;) ) and work it into your daily calorie allowance. Maybe…

Take progressing pictures!! I took some every 2.5ish weeks. Kept me SO motivated when I didn't feel like much was changing! I'd look back at the picture from a couple/few weeks before and YUP! Change. I really think that without having done that, I'd have given up or stopped working quite so hard at it. Mine:
