Sometimes I will add fat free chicken stock vs. oil. So far, it's worked great!

OMG, I laughed when I saw this. I freaking love it! I agree with most on here. I'd take voluptuous as a compliment. I'd rather be that vs. some skinny chick without curves.

I'm on board too! I lost 43 pounds 3 years ago after my mom (only 52 at the time) had her 3rd heart attack and needed a pacemaker put in. I didn't want to be like that in 20 years. I lost the weight and felt great. I got a little too comfortable and got back in my old ways of comfort eating and eating too much of the foods…

Some people's bodies just take a little longer to show results. I have only lost 10 pounds so far but when I lost over 40 lbs a few years back it took a while to see results. I didn't really notice anything until I lost about 25 pounds. Keep up the good work, you'll be rewarded soon enough.

I've always been a stress eater. I try to find alternatives that aren't so high in calories and fat but are still satisfying. Today I felt like meatloaf and potatoes. So instead of using super fatty meat, I used 93% lean meat and oven roasted potatoes instead of mashed potatoes, butter and gravy. When I want something…

I've taken it for two years and it works great! I have always taken a long time to fall asleep. With this, I take a pill and within 30 min. I feel relaxed and fall asleep easily.

Me too! I lost 43 pounds about 3 years ago and have since gained it back. I started my 2nd round of weight loss last month and have lost 10 pounds so far. I need to make sure that I maintain the loss this time. I think I just got too comfortable and started eating bad foods and before I knew it I was back to where I…

Great job! Exercising while losing makes such a big difference. I don't want to just lose but tone and firm at the same time. Thanks for inspriring me! :flowerforyou:

Calorie counting and journaling my daily food intake have been the only thing that has ever helped me lose weight. It keeps you aware of what you're eating. If you pig out, it's a frightening site to see all those fat grams and calories in black in white staring at you! For me anyway, it prevents me from wanting…

I'm on a 1200 cal. diet and have found that if I don't eat enough protein I get hungry. In the mornings, I'll either have a protein shake made w/ 1% milk or egg whites on a whole wheat english muffin. As long as you include a protein in every meal, hunger should be at bay.

Yes, you can have a healthy baby if you are diabetic and overweight. I did but it wasn't a fun journey. I also had to visit the dr. every week and get lots of tests since I was high risk. I was a nervous wreck until the HBA1c test came back under 5 which meant my sugars were good 2 months prior to my conception and 1 month…

I TOTALLY understand how you feel about not wanting to see people that haven't seen you in a while! A few things have helped. First, I tell myself that although I'm heavy now I'm working on it. It makes me feel a little better about myself. Same thing with exercising. I may not see differences right away but I feel better…

Any kind of "cakey" dessert. I have no willpower when it comes to those kinds so I just don't buy them- ever.
