  • Okay, note to self: Kick *kitten* at the gym one day, because there is a location perfectly seated to swoop into on the drive home. ;)
  • I've been wanting to try their frozen custard. That'll be a no-go, unless I totally kill it at the gym one day. LOL.
  • I hate Splenda so that'd be a no go for me anyway! Lol
  • Thank God there's not one of those around me. I'd be done for.
  • I started a thread. So we can quit hijacking OP. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10488156/accidental-calorie-bombs/p1?new=1
  • I dunno, but it's sad to know I could get that biscuit meal for like 5 bucks, whereas if I got some kinda multigrain bagel with a protein and some fresh fruit, i'd be dolling out twice as much. Sometimes, we just gotta take the hit, I suppose.
  • it was a Sunny Saturday Morning, I had drove into my hometown to visit my mother, where we planned to commence in a day of brunch, and some shopping. I pulled into the steak and shake, knowing my mother enjoys that place, as do I. It was a special day, that day with mom, so I ordered the gravy biscuits, thinking they cant…
  • Yeah, I was being sarcastic lol. If only there was a sarcasm for the on here! I'm just happy that I've gained enough knowledge and can put that 70 bucks to something more useful. Like chocolate.
  • Then why am I losing even more consistently than when I counted calories AND took adipex?! Surely you're not saying that 70 bucks a month was...a....waste?! At least it was per month, and not for a few days of just juice. Smh. ;)
  • I have inadvertently stopped drinking sodas. It just kinda happened. I drink plain water, enhanced.water, sparkling water, unsweetened tea, black coffee or coffee with some half and half in it, juice when the calories allow. Occasionally I'll have a diet soda (love me some diet mountain dew!)
  • I don't eat 1200, but I like to keep my meals as low as possible to add room for snacks, because I love to eat (which is why I'm here lol), and I graze through the day. Keep your meals full of lean proteins, such as chicken, or super lean beef. A dinner example would be chicken, load the plate with non starchy veggies(less…
  • Awesome news: our livers are made to automatically flush toxins. So unless you have a chronic medical condition, or you're a heavy drinker, your liver will do its own flushing, so you don't have to waste your money on some ridiculous fad diet. :) Edited because fat fingers and phones make typos.
  • Have you been diagnosed with gallstones? If so, I'd follow the recommendations of your physician, and I'm almost certain he didn't recommend a "flush"
  • Snacking kills our health? Um, no. So if I cut out my snacks, and eat thousands of calories of fried protein, melted cheese, and a dinner plate sized roll at each meal, I'd be healthier? Because I didn't have that 200 calories of pretzels and peanut butter?
  • Does this guy have any affiliation with the gym other than being a member, and did you pay him a fee to tell you how to work out? if no, call him Felicia and tell him Bye. ;)
  • My homemade chocolate peanut clusters that most people refer to as "crack" because they're so addicting. Yes, I'm still making them this year, and yes, I'm still enjoying them this year as well. Edited because I can't form complete sentences.
  • facepalm. i totally forgot november! Apologies! Now I feel like an idiot. ;) they aren't kidding when they say the years go by quicker and quicker. then OP, I go with what everyone else says. Weight loss isn't linear, it's one week, and don't stress!
  • I'm not even going to address your concern for a stall in weight loss. ....21 pounds since October 27? that's like 10 days. Either you haven't actually lost that much, or you are going about weight loss in a dangerous, unhealthy manner
  • Yes, I think it's very dangerous at mine (I go to the judgement free but you lunkheads better not push yourself too hard, lol), so it's not set up for anything involving such a thing.
  • Okay, this isn't really so much of an annoyance, more like a "what the what, dude?" but.... do y'all have people that jog laps around your gym? I've seen two fellas at mine literally running around the gym. Around all those treadmills and ellipticals. I mean, do your thing dude, but it seems that it could be a bit unsafe,…
  • I go there too. I love the price, and that it's in between my home town and work town, and also 24 hrs. I've only heard the alarm once since I started in October. and I think that feller like THREW the weights. I have heard people drop weights, but it's expected at times, so at my location, they seem to not been too alarm…
  • So mine :/ it's currently 40 degrees in Georgia, and the airs still on. I know people are gonna sweat and get hot but dang it, I'm cold natured lol!
  • A weight watchers smart ones frozen spaghetti dinner. I'm a boring loser.
  • I love the treadmill. ;) But I tend to throw my phone on it and watch Gilmore girls, or orange is the new black. haha.
  • Do you like whole milk, and can you fit it into your calorie goals? Drink whole. If you prefer skim, and it fits into your daily calories, drink that. :) As far as weight loss goes, it doesn't matter what you eat or drink, so long as you burn more calories than you eat!
  • The other night, me and the feller were watching a movie in bed, and I snuggled up on his shoulder. He put his arm around me and was rubbing me at my waist/hip. He said, "yeah, you HAVE lost weight, you have less real estate here!" :)
  • No, you still have an eating disorder. That would be like an alcoholic saying they USED to be an alcoholic. They will always be an alcoholic. Mental illness does not go away, or get cured. Without practicing outside of my scope, I'd like to express the opinion you still have a hard struggle with your ED. To think that 3…
  • -Weight loss will not always be the same each week. - despite what you THINK you know, you need a food scale. You're eating more than 1200 calories a day. Because cups and spoons are lying little hoes. ;) - Water retention can happen during workouts, menstrual cycles, or #becauselife - 3 pounds a week, too much, too fast.…
