There's nothing wrong with being hungry. I doubt the norm of never feeling hunger is our default setting and isn't a very recent thing. In fact, when my weight wasn't an issue, back in the day, probably the last time i felt hunger regularly.

This. Its always this.

I find the pushy ones don't want you to eat the cake, they want your consent to eat it themselves . If everyone's eating cake, it makes it ok.
-
As above. Do it for yourself, anyone else caring is a bonus.
-
sure it is, grab a hacksaw and pick your least favorite leg.
-
Yes, just use the timed program, not the distance one.
-
absolutely 100% spot on correct. As far as weight loss goes, that's all that matters.
-
its just an alternative for those with an all or nothing mindset. If you can calorie control your portion sizes you don't need them.
-
this thread I BS, I have no way of knowing how stupid they are.

a weimeralmost and a collieridiculous

the one that looks like a grey seal with legs and walks like they were put on backwards. someone should write a blog for him, it would naturally be a food blog, my better half would do a far better job than me though.

best advice yet

always. veg and exercise. when is the answer going to be dominos and starbound? you are most likely right though. grumble.

my advice to anyone not losing on 1200 would be to ensure you are actually only on 1200.
-
yes I think cramming more veggies in is probably a good idea, given my general avoidance of them. cant hurt the cold either I guess.
-
that would be awesome, but I think I missed the free trips over there by a few hundred years. my budget could probably stretch to as far as the next town. I hear its dark and muddy there though.
-
Outdoors yes, at night. Rain, mud, England im afraid. I can easily snap myself out of it once I catch it, just wondering where its come from. Nothings changed barring eating less crap all the time. Don't get me wrong, I still eat crap.

Yeah, he would go for a snickers. Although technically poison to him. But then he also has a taste for things that drop out of him.
-
yup done. so far its down to a nasty peanut infested chocolate bar deficiency.

Frank has been the main recipient of my grump, although practically climbing on my head and wheezing in my ear like a 300lb chronic asthmatic when im trying to sleep, he deserved it. For the benefit of the thread, Frank is in my profile pic.

they're bloody horrible
-
if they are a close friend, a verbal slapping would be in order, for "acquaintances", meh, your money, your life.

The reasons for this reaction are a mile long, but it doesn't take a genius or buckets of empathy to see them. I guess what the more fragile members of mfp need is a thread dedicated to, well I don't know what we are doing here, mocking? highlighting? or just standing and pointing?
-
old school MFP cliche coming now.. Stop and just say to yourself. If the problem isn't hunger, the answer isn't food. Over the years i have whittled this down to a simple put the fork down fatty inner dialogue.
-
If we ate back all the calories the body burns we'd be at maintenance is only true if your mfp account is set to maintenance, otherwise the deficit is already in there.
-
The whole thing can be broken down to a very simple thing. Should i eat my exercise calories back? I don't know, are you hungry? If yes, then do it, if no, then why are you eating, that's how we got here.
-
should be doable the healthy way within 4 months or so, maybe less. still think option 2 is a winner.
