Fat is more satiating for me, with the exception of 0% v. 2% greek yogurt. The 2% does nothing for me in terms of keeping me full longer. Still, i LOVE fats like avocado, nuts, etc. Yum!

You lost pounds and YEARS! You look younger and fabulous! Way to go!
-
Yep, i've gotten this recently. My sister (who is 5'7" and like 118lbs) told me that if i lost more weight i'd look "skeletal." I'm 5'9 and 149lbs. Wtf?
-
Move, definitely! I too had a high calorie night last night when i ate an entire large blended ice cream thing with snickers in it. I'm just eating normally today. Restricting your intake to try to "make up for" a binge will only make things worse

hahaha little *kitten*. I experienced something like this in New Zealand at Milford Sound. Holy crap they were EVERYWHERE. I feel your pain.
-
I now fit into a size 8! I don't think that's been possible since circa 2004

5'9" here... highest weight (ever) was roughly 188lbs, but more recently in my adult life my highest weight was 168lbs. Currently at 149ish with a goal of 145. I wouldn't mind going lower but I'm finding the last few pounds REALLY tough to eliminate!!

Fellow lawyer here; cookies and baked goods abound in the kitchen and TONS of candy on various desks! I bring my own lunch every day and lots of snacks. I think I do a decent job of staying away from the goodies, but I do cave every now and again....

Whoa. You look &%^$* AMAZING!!! Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oatmeal, pb2, cashew butter, pumpkin pie spice and unsweetened almond milk. SO DAMN GOOD

While I don't have kids (and I understand this is a major factor in terms of taking up time!) the only way I can fit my long workout in is by waking up at 4:30am and going before work. I have school part time too, so this really is the only option. It's certainly not fun, but it's worth it to me

I usually only refuel if I'm running for more than ten miles. I think I only tried the GU stuff during the few half marathons I've done, but I liked them. I sometimes also use the clif shot blocks

I dated my share of douches before I met my fiancé. Esp the long term guy with whom I talked about marriage and him moving back to Pennsylvania to be with me, then him dumping me over email out of the blue. Awesome. I met my fiancé in law school; as of our wedding date in Oct we will have been together for 6 years!

wrap, edamame hummus, hard boiled egg and cheddar cheese. Sounds odd but it's delish!

I would easily put away a third or a half of a half gallon of ice cream, just eating out of the container in front of the TV. Then go on to snack on cookies, chocolate and whatever other sweets we had in the house. That had to be at least 1300+ cals, and that was just dessert!!

Continuing to weigh in is definitely key - for me at least. I lost 10 or so lbs a year or two ago, then stopped weighing but continued exercising, and when I noticed my clothes getting tighter i finally hopped on the scale again and- whoops! There were those 10lbs. I DON'T want that to happen again.

Cereal if i'm eating it with milk. Too damn easy to just re fill and re fill. I try to eat it with yogurt if i'm going to have it at all
-
Up at 4:40am to work out; in bed by 9. Getting up during the week is a ***** for me no matter when, so might as well get my workout overwith....
-
bump because I'm in the market too!
-
You have this problem too?? haha I look like the world's biggest a-hole when i have no expression on my face. It's a shame
-
Despite my weight loss, and the fact that I'm at a healthy weight for my height, I still see overweight. I feel like it's drilled into my brain after seeing it for so long.
-
I too LOVE cereal but i have a nasty habit of standing at the counter, milk and cereal box out, just re filling and re filling. One thing I've found that works (other than exercising self control and putting the milk and box AWAY haha) is putting some cereal on yogurt. I get my cereal fix but it's not as easy to just…

I use a HRM, subtract from that (they can be off) then enter in whatever minutes will give me that amount of calories is in MFP. The minutes exercising are never correct- i just fill it in for the numbers. Maybe they did the same thing?

I would look skeletal and gaunt at 120, but obviously we're all built differently so that doesn't hold true for all. I'm 5'9 and my goal weight is around 140. I'm 147 and some change right now.... finding it v hard to get the last 7lbs off!
-
I'm so sorry for your loss....but I absolutely love your story. You are awesome. And a super cute pregnant chick

As everyone has said...moderation. Just be sure to accurately measure the cals from the fruit. Before i bought a food scale I would log the big *kitten* apples I'd buy from the store at FAR LESS than they actually were (like, 50 cals instead of 120...). The sugar may be natural but it makes fruit naturally higher calorie…

I can't keep food at my desk or i'll eat ALL of it! I bring a lot of snacks in, but almost all of them require refrigeration (i.e. cheese, cut up veggies, 2% greek yogurt). This is good since it requires me to get off my butt and go to the kitchen to get a snack, so there's no "mindless" aspect to it. Plus they keep me…

About 19lbs in 8 months. Slow and (somewhat) steady
-
I would probably keel over. I'm set to 1340 a day and I find that's too low as well most days. Just too damn hungry!

My highest adult weight was 168 (possibly more) about two years ago, CW 149, GW 142. I'm 5'9".
