Gee, some of these trainers sound sketchy. I've seen the type around though, given becoming one isn't too difficult it's the application. Things like eating fast food though? Some just don't take it seriously I guess... I've had three throughout the last 5/6 years. The first I only saw a couple times. He wasn't "bad" but…

Not to sound like a total b which I do. But honestly, I'm at the gym.....super sweaty and concentrating. The last thing I'm thinking about is a guy so when I get hit on I feel caught off guard and weird.

I had some creep ask me if I wanted a spotter, after I took off my headphones to acknowledge him standing there forever (I was on the stair master for f*** sake). He then proceeded to ask out me every time I was there; if I wanted to grab drinks, even asked "are you sure, come on" after I said no multiple times. I mean,…

Dig Chicago, the city not the team ;) jk. You from there?

I watch basketball getting ready for March madness. Opening day in CO for baseball is in April and always a good time! Love football though watched the combine and keeping tabs on the team free agent picks. Falcons fan here...who do you follow?

I tried watching Making a Murderer and couldn't get passed the first episode... Glad to see I'm not the only one with tv pleasures! I started watching "Fit to Fat to Fit" on A&E. Definitely recommend it as this is a fitness forum. It's pretty damn motivating!

I confess I'm a grammar nazi & your comma was misplaced. Haha

Just finished "The Last Narco" so good. Relevant with Chapo being caught. A bit of a devils advocate after reading.

My 600b life. In the UK To Catch a Pedo I binged. Anyone seen it? What is Supervet about, animals?

Adding American Horror Story. Hotel made me infatuated with Gaga.

Had a hard time separating babe from baby...:p

Vegweb.com has a ton of recipes. I relied on that site quite a bit when I stopped eating meat.

I forgot how to ride one. People always say you never forget, but I tried after about a decade and toppled over at an intersection. I probably should have tried to get on the damn thing prior to allowing people to see me. Haven't been on one since (minus the stationary kind).

22lbs that's awesome, great job!

I could definitely use more MFPals. My diary is open for friends. Add me!

Great job on staying consistent with logging and a new gym routine. I tend to get into a pattern of logging/gym for a period of time then nothing for a few weeks, then back at it. Making an effort to not stray from my goals this time around so feel free to add :) Good luck on your weight loss venture, you got this!

Actually now that I think of it leg extensions might not be super friendly....

Woah nice job. Congrats on your 1st year you should feel great about it!

^ I'd prefer to take a route that wouldn't result in pizza lovers trying to eat my face :D lol

Yep, bulking at the moment.

Terrible, terrible advice. Fats are just as important as carbs and protein. You can't just take a pill of fish oil and call it good... OP - shakes/smoothies have been useful for me since they provide nutrition without making me feel too full. Are you currently tracking your intake? Have you calculated how many calories you…

Woah! A gallon a day would not work for me, I rarely drink milk unless I ran out of almond milk or have it in coffee haha. I understand the eat big lift big part though, so it makes sense. Although, I'm not trying to run a cut but rather looking to gain muscle. Is the KG program considered a "cutting" program? Kinda…

Foam rolling helps too, but it can be a bit uncomfortable at first. Doing that then taking an Epsom salt bath is relaxing.

Thanks everyone! I looked at the app and it seems like it would help loads with following the program. I'll check out the BIB site and see what that's about. I did the day 1 of the muscle building trainer and it kicked my *kitten*. Nutrition wise though I'm feeling pretty shaky, the suggested starting calories are a bit…

Shock was probably the wrong verbiage. I've had some results with what I've been doing so far but it's getting a bit boring and was looking at more intermediate plans for the challenge. Barbell squats come into play on day 8, although my gym doesn't have a hack squat machine so I may have to do them day 1 anyway... I…

I've been telling myself over and over how much I want to cut back, glad I found this group I'm in for October! I'm not necessarily trying to lose weight, but it's definitely impacting my fitness goals and I think lately I've been saucing way to heavily anyway :|. It's thrown my workout grind completely off the past month!…

I found articles on bodybuilding.com to be more helpful than MFP when it came to determining calorie/macro/micro needs. They have a ton of threads that have been "stickied" so they remain at the top of the forum you won't have to dig for some good information. Below is a good one:…

As others mentioned, one day of under eating isn't going to do much. Have you always had trouble with your appetite or meeting your caloric needs or just for the past 6 months? If you feel like you have to gorge on food just to maintain your weight there could be an underlying issue. What types of food are you eating?…

I had a hard time getting in 2300 cals as well when I first started. I was taking in around 1500 at the time, so the extra 800 wasn't easy to get accustomed to. However, once I started making it to the gym on a regular and consistent basis, my appetite ramped up which helped. I would suggest drinking calories if you find…

Best of luck in your recovery! From experience I can say it is an uncomfortable journey. When you start to gain it might somehow feel "wrong", but you have to be able to change your thinking habits and keep pushing forward. Life without a disorder dictating how you feel about yourself and what you do day-to-day is very…
