@14a_p It sounds like you have everything in place to get to full pull ups.Good luck!
-
14 do you do "slow cadence" negative chin/pull ups? They are the one move I found useful in achieving positives chin/ pull ups. I also recommend watching Athlean X tutorial videos on Youtube. Good luck!

I remain in compliance with my food goals, weight training completed today and I managed one pull up.

Hi Kathy. I'm 2 years post menopause, not on HRT, and doing 3 weight training sessions a week too. I've found through logging food intake and regular weigh ins that my maintenance calories are approx 200 fewer than they were pre menopause, so a very low margin between loss/maintain/gain. For reference, I was weight…

Wednesday Complete disaster! Way over calories and zero exercise. Thursday: Complied with calorie target, weights session and negative chin up session.
-
Today I: Consumed target calories with < 30g sugar, completed weight training session, did 6 x 10 second negative chins ups. In theory, when I can do 10 x 10 second negative I will be able to do 1 positive chin up.

Well done for the walk/run Lisa :-) I survived my exercise class last night. I've changed my profile settings to make it visible to Friends - did not realise it was on "private" so you can now see pics of other half and the pets. Wishing everyone a great day.

Well done to everyone who has logged their food and exercise today - good or bad log it and learn from it :-) MeRoBi - I did "Fatburner" class, I was invited to join by work mates who go once a week. It was aerobics based with a step and pump with weights section. I managed to keep going, couldn't keep up with all the arm…

Hello to Everyone from a wet and windy UK! I am Julie, I live by the sea on the South Coast of England with my partner, cat and dog. I used to keep fit by swimming, gym and running in my 20's and 30's but joint problems put a stop tp that and I now lift weights twice a week to the best of my ability, spend an hour a day…

May I join you Ladies please? I am 49 years old, five foot one and a half tall (or short). I live in the UK with my partner Neil, a cat and a dog. I guess we are all old enough to know better but never too old to learn new tricks! Anyone is welcome to add me as a Friend :-)

... and weekend calories count too, your food diary is "empty" every Sat/Sun. Try logging them too, you may be eating a lot more then.

Hi Jen! I am five foot, 1 1/2 inches. I'm at your goal weight and trying to maintain, but fighting urges to binge as I don't "need" to lose weight. I'm 48, live in UK with my husband, I do strength training twice a week and keep active before and after work by walking the dog.
