I'm starting over, again, too! I lost 50#, developed healthy habits and a love for running. Sidelined by Plantar's Fasciitis for the better part of a year and all the old habits came back. So did the old weight! Starting back at it today just a couple # shy of where I started the last time. 5'6" and 233# this AM. Would…

Well, I had lost 50#, but have had an 8mo struggle with Plantar Fasciitis. Lots of rest and didn't replace my running w/ something else. I was lost without it! Just now getting back in the swing of things. Up 20#, so my new number to lose is 66#. Looking for new and inspiring friends, so feel free to add me!
-
Good for you! Me, too. It's been a while since I've felt in control enough to put myself first again. Looking for new, supportive friends, too, so everyone please add me. :)

Me! :flowerforyou:

I'd LOVE to be back to my consistent low from last year! That means 15#. If I can pass it, even better!!! Let's go!
-
Me, too!!! It's been a really, really bad month. Plantar fasciitis stopped my running, I've been on a tough work schedule, and my food choices have been BAD. Ready to get back on track! I need the support, so hoping to add a lot of you! Feel free to add me.

The sound of flip flops slappin' on the bottom of peoples' feet! Slap, slap, slap. Hate it!
-
Invite me, please! The group I was in is basically dead and I have been looking for a new one. This sounds perfect for me. :)

Blam - Sounds like you answered your own question. You know yourself, your own "game". It takes a long time, constant effort, and often repeated failures to work out of the thought patterns that have led you to where you are. Believe me, I am familiar! Sometimes I feel like it will be a lifelong battle. So, arm yourself!…

Hello, all! I'm back! I can come back, right?! I stepped out of this group a couple months ago, focusing on my 10-mile race training rather than weight loss. (I found that I couldn't really do both.) In the last few weeks, I have been suffering from heel pain that has effected my running. Last week decided I have to drop…

I skipped last week's reporting. TOM and a terrible week... I just couldn't deal with what the scale was telling me. I got into a 10-mile race that ran last year and am working back up to this year. That is taking precedence over the scale. I am not sure that I can manage both goals - running 10mi and fueling those runs…

Leftovers from last night - spaghetti squash, red sauce, wild rice meatballs.

Last week: 195.2 This week: 194.5 Difference: -.7# And I'll take it! Really, really rough week. Went out of town to visit family - too much food and a really bad run. The weather has been too hot/humid for me to run outside and I hate the tmill. But, I think it's my only option now, so will start today. Commitment? Gosh,…

Weight last week: 196.2 This week: 195.0 Loss: 1.2# This is not a new loss, but I'm still happy about it. I've been up and down the same 5# for months. My fault. No excuses other than uncooperative weather for outside runs. So, on to the next week and hoping to just keep going down! Cheers!

SW: 237 CW: 196.2 July Goal: 189.9 GW: 154.9 7/1 - 196.2 7/8 - 195.0 7/15 - 7/22 - 7/29 - Total pounds lost: 1.2

SW: 195 Wk1: 192.4 Wk2: 194 Wk 3: 192.5 Wk4: 196 Wk5: 193.8 -2.2#! That is somewhat of a shock as it was not a good week at all! I have really struggled and started fresh yesterday. It's July, a new month, halfway thru the year. I'm focusing on making the second half much better than the first! Good job to all who are…

I did the challenge a while ago and have been really off-track. I'm back in for July! SW: 237 CW: 196.2 July Goal: 189.9 UG: 154.9 7/1 - 196.2 7/8 - 7/15 - 7/22 - 7/29 - Total pounds lost: Good luck, everyone!

I'm glad that was helpful. It was very good for me to write it as it has taken a LONG time for me to get used to some of the ups and downs not being a reflection of the work I've done. Still, it's difficult to see a big increase like that and not immediately feel liked I failed, esp when I'm not on the top of my game.

Bump for later.

SW: 195 Wk1: 192.4 Wk2: 194 Wk 3: 192.5 Wk4: 196 So, Wk4 was obviously not good. And that was expected. I had an overnight job early in the week, which throws my whole schedule off. So I have not run in a week. It took me today to recover from those hours. I have even skipped my normal dog walks because we have had so many…

Since our fearless leader, blam, is delaying weigh-in til tomorrow, I'm going to, too! A bad week, high-sodium dinner, and TOM shot my # thru the roof this AM. Will report back tomorrow with a more realistic (but still bad, I expect) weight. :)

I've thought a lot about getting off of there. Lately, it feels no different from my RL mailbox - mostly junk mail with all the shared pics of random junk, political statements that just make me mad, and only occasionally a bit of news from a contact that is actually meaningful. For some stupid reason, I keep logging on to…

I think dog parks are very stressful for dogs and odd and unpredictable behaviors will come out as a result. And just like a human going to a store and encountering ill-behaved humans, you will encounter ill-behaved dogs (and humans!) at the dog park just because it's for public use. Seems like there are always a group of…

SW: 195 Wk1: 192.4 Wk2: 194 Wk 3: 192.5 -1.5# this week! I'll take it, esp since I didn't do the greatest job on food choices OR exercise. I really didn't expect the scale to go down at all. Proof again that weight loss is not linear and you just have to keep trying and keep going. Congrats to those that lost!!! And to…

Add me to the list of "I could have done a lot better!" SW: 195 Last week: 192.4 This week: 194 No surprise. I lacked interest and had a wknd even, as well. I've done enough of these challenges now to know that it seems to always happen in week 2. You can either drop out (many do) or keep going and try to do your best.…

Champion PowerBack does not disappoint! Can find a good deal online, too.

You look amazing! And it was really helpful for me to see your pics. I am a few pounds over your starting weight with a goal of 155. It's been over 20yrs, though, since I've weighed that, so VERY hard for me to picture or relate to. What an inspiration!!! Good luck as you continue toward your goal!
-
SW for challenge (5/28): 195 CW (6/4): 192.4 -2.6#!!! In all fairness, I had a bit of Mem Day hanging around last week. I'm very excited to see a new number today and look forward to another great week!

HI, everybody! I LOVE the idea of this group and the short-term, focused goal. I'm halfway through losing the weight I would like to. Ive been at basically the same weight for many months now, not kicking it up enough to get to losing again. This feels like it could be the answer. :) SW=195.0 GW next Tue=193.0

Does anyone else see the Madonna in the turkey pic?
