He will enter your life. Don't believe he is who he appears to be no matter how close it looks like he is to what you want. It's all smoke and mirrors. That's what they do - take on the persona of who they think you want them to be in order to make you want THEM. It's real for you. It's not for them. People that love you…

When I have the urge to bake, I make dog biscuits. The combo of ingredients is not at all tempting. Even if the cookies are buried in the freezer, I still know they're there!

Go outside! Time - It does pass more quickly and you get to see the world and feel the breeze/sun/rain. Harder - Yes, it is! People - F 'em. Most people are so wrapped up in their own lives that they don't notice or care about who else is out there. Runners will think you are doing great! Pee - I have the same…

Both of my nephews starting TKD at age 4. The older is 10 now and a Junior Black Belt. The younger is 8 and testing for his Black Belt this summer. Both are going to nationals for a second year in a row. Their skill sets are completely different. The older does really well in forms and it has been a real exercise for him…
Actually, Rapunzel saves the prince in that story -- the original, anyway, which is the one I grew up with. Have you ever seen Into the Woods? You'd get a kick out of the princes and relationships in that musical.
Oops, must have gotten that wrong. Maybe I'm slowly recovering from "the dream". :) No, I…

I think we're taught (albeit passively) to want that from a young age. It's the whole Prince Charming deal. Look at how many princesses are saved! And it continues on with a fascination for that life-changing engulfment. Many times, it appears as though the woman is so fortunate to have found her true, life-changing,…

This ^^^ Christian is a Narcissist and the relationship (and many idealized, fictional relationships) is textbook for dealing with someone with that personality disorder. And the fact that this is driving a country of women to desire that type of manipulation, disregard for personal boundaries, and all else that goes with…

Only 1.4# off now!!! Will be huge when I reach it as it's been low by up to 55# for the past 18 years!

Yummo! Thanks!

I was taught that using a spray bottle with water in it may work. Dog barks, you spray toward face and say, "uuhhh!!!" in a corrective tone of voice. If he doesn't do it again, say, "Thank you" and love him up or give him a treat. If he barks again, spray again with the corrective word to stop. He barks again, do it again…

Another for Garmin Forerunner 305. Love it! Easy to read, great reception, and long battery life.

Baxter, age 7. Beagle mix, but ALL Beagle personality! In all fairness, I love my cat, Simmy, too. He'll be 19 next month!

242# in 1999 @ age 34. Up and down 25# until I had enough in 2010 @ 237#. Now = 189# @ age 47. Not even close to being done yet!!!

I'm officially out of the challenge because I did weigh today. I had to to get a sense of where I was at. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it could be, but I am up since 4/1, so am glad I did it. Will get through a week w/o it for sure. Hoping to make it to 4/30, but not going to freak if I don't. Again, good luck…

JCP Xersion brand is awesome for that! Reg price is around $35, but they are on sale all the time and I've never paid more than $18. Try buying a size smaller than usual, too. It really helps.

A narcissist does not ask that question. They are so caught up in seeking attention (it's a full time job) that they don't even realize how they may be coming off. Do you have feelings other than those of fear and anger? If so, you are not a narcissist. And if you showed me your eyes, I could tell. If they look dead, cold,…

Gotta say, I'm actually happy today that that darn scale is in storage for the month. Otherwise, I would be on it this morning, obsessing about the result of the big Easter meal yesterday. So, I guess today I'm relieved. :) Eating a breakfast of good choices and getting back on track today!

4/6 = 1.5mi 4/8 = 6.5mi Killer to do the last chunk tonight, but happy to have gutted it out. Hello, Jacksonville! :) Thanks, again, Alexa, for running this challenge. It really helped me get my miles in. Hoping for another...

Distance, for sure! The longer runs are so much more fulfilling. I'll take just doing miles 4-6 over a faster 3mi every single time!!!

I'm dying for it today. I changed up my macros last week and started Chalean Extreme on Monday along with my Half Marathon training I started on Sunday. That's a lot of change all at the same time! And I am feeling the results of the workouts. I really, really want to know what's going on. I almost feel like it's…

4/4 = 1.2mi 4/5 = 3.2mi 8mi to go! I'm having our family Easter celebration at my house, so I might be on the treadmill til midnight on Sunday, but I'm planning on finishing. :)
-
4/2 = 1.5mi 4/3 = 4mi I think I'll make it with just doing what I plan to do. Love this challenge and hoping for another!

Well, still my first instinct when I get up in the morning. Or, really, anytime I go into my master bath. But, I haven't given in and won't. I am focusing on the program I put together for the month of April and honestly, it's freeing to not have the judgment of the scale affecting my plans! To everyone who is staying away…

Good shoes, C25k to ease into it, don't be afraid to go slowly or walk when needed, and just KEEP GOING. That's it. :)

Gotta say it was odd not to step on the scale this morning since it had become way too much a part of the routine and I hadn't intended for it to. But, it was so GREAT! Happy not to have that emotional reaction to it going up or down that usually set the tone for the day! @lazyspice - I know what you mean about wearing…

I've decided on earrings. Nothing expensive, but just decent looking Sterling or something. Gotta be on sale as I'm frugal and have limited funds right now, too. I think I'll do one pr 4/15 and another 4/30 if I can find what I like. I'm super picky. Being cheap and picky is a tough combination. :)

Nothing but BLUE for my Beagle, Baxter. He was on Iam's when I rescued him, but way overweight. BLUE stabilized that and it's the only thing I trust not to puff him back up again. It's funny, he spits the little "nutritional bits" off to the side of his bowl while he's eating and cleans them up last. He's a weirdo.
