That's exactly how I started. Just ate what I would normally and tracked it. It really helped me be mindful of what I was consuming. Keep it up!

I had never done a yoga class in person until last week. I have done two classes now and I'm hooked! My instructor is so patient and calming and I can't wait until I can execute the poses flawlessly. The classes I have taken are right after one of my bootcamp classes and I've found it to be a great way to work out all the…

Absolutely! Some of my favorites are crackers with laughing cow cheese, hummus and pretzels, string cheese and almonds, a little salami and provolone etc... No reason to give those up!

For me, it really depends on what I'm doing. If I am taking a walk outside I usually smile and greet everyone I see. If I am doing circuit training/bootcamp we are all usually laughing about something ridiculous (its an all female group and community is a big part of the entire program). If I am at the gym I prefer just to…

If I am doing plain I prefer the texture and flavor of Fage. If flavored (I like vanilla with fresh berries on the top), I like the Oikos brand.

I log as I go... Works for me!

I didn't really learn to cook until I was 28 or so... (I'm 40 now! ). Anyway, what I did was become obsessed with the Food Network.. I watched Rachel Ray, Giada DeLaurentis, and Ina Garten obsessively! What it did for me was inspire me to try what I was seeing. I bought a couple cookbooks (like Better Homes and…

I made a grilled chicken breast sandwich with a homemade garlic aioli. I should have taken a picture!

I would say apple also. I've always considered am hourglass to be slim in the waist (like 10" smaller than bust and hips). I wish I was an hourglass... :-/. I'm an apple.

I understand your question, however I think the simplest thing to do is just to go back to your post op diet. It will take as long as it takes. Do you still dump from too much sugar or has that passed?

When I was working I usually brought leftovers or a salad (very simple salad with just a protein, maybe some cheese and nuts and dressing). Now that I'm home full time I make a yummy sandwich (my fiancé calls me the sandwich queen!) or a more complex salad. Example today was a mixed green salad with spicy lime chicken,…

Honey is a good idea. I tend to add fresh berries to mine. Personally I prefer the Oikos (by Dannon) or Fage brand.

Based on that, it seems as though you are probably an hourglass.

During the winter and cold months I use my treadmill (for walking) a lot. Now that the weather has improved I am walking outside. I like to make sure that I have a really good music playlist going or when I used the one at the gym I watched TV too.
